This man. UGH. he makes my heart sing. He seriously holds the bar for me. Romantic, truly loved her, isn’t perfect he certainly has issues but he also loves her completely and wants to make her happy and I just want that for myself. Guess that’s why I’m 30 and still ya know, like, waiting for that one perfect guy. My Mr. Corinthians. God, now I realize I might die alone. I’m waiting for something that I can only get vicariously thru Carly. 🤦🏾♀️
Sorry all had to remove the music so youtube could unblock my video. If some parts have no sound that is why. The song on there caused my video to be blocked globally. Sorry you all
Sonny and Carly are hot hot hot! :) Aww that's sweet that Carly gave Sonny lobster when she hates it and that he made her a hamburger. :) Carly is all nervous hahaha! Oh Carly stop acting like you are a virgin ROFL! :)
Carly- you see how much easier it is when you let me have my way? what Sonny wants to say- how bout you have your way with me? (trademark Sonny wink and click)
I never gave up Jarly, but I did have a bout of temporary Carson insanity when it became clear they weren't gonna give us Jarly. These two in particular had chemistry, there's no denying it. Of course, Sarah Brown coulda had chemistry with a tree stump, so there's that. 😂😂
This Carly (how she was with him at this time) was the best. She was more calm, not overbearing but still a ride die chick who loved n supported her man
@jasoncarly Yeah, I agree, those things pissed me off but I still fell in love S&C anyway. I should've known then I was in for a rollercoaster of torture, lol.
I don't see it...she's so insecure and just happy that someone like him is being nice to her. It doesn't simmer. It has a desperation to it on her part. She wants to be loved so bad and isn't used to it. He is a charmer so the position of seducer is familiar to him. Sonny can charm any woman it's what he does. She's so hopeful that he loves her...I don't like how it feels.
Every woman that has fallen in love with Sonny, has fallen for him desperately, and desperately tried to hold onto him, not just Carly. Lily, BRENDA, Carly, Alexis, Olivia, Claudia, Emily, and the list goes on and on. When Sonny left Brenda, did you see how desperate she was to get him back, she even offered to be his mistress while he was married to Lily just so she can be with him, talk about desperate and needing to be loved so bad. When he is in a relationship he holds the most power, no matter who the woman is, it's always been like that and it will always be like that because that's just the kind of man he is, he's a charmer and a seducer like you said and no one does it better than him.
@@nyeishaclark95 We all knew that but Brenda wasn't supposed to be desperate. And Brenda/Sonny in love was class all the way, very different from Carson. Carly was whorish and Sonny the bad guy was her redeemer. The way they tried to make Jax Brenda's redemption. What happened is men started to write for women, so all women after and Brenda have been desperate. Sonny has been made into a pimp but that's not the character he was supposed to be under Labine. That's what he was becoming before he fell in love with Brenda. the switch happened under Guza. What's worse is the concept that Hate can be Love and that's what Guza created with Carson. Bad is good. Up is down. I think he thought he was being edgy and creative and also I think Guza is the kind of writer who thinks women are dumb and will buy anything he sells them, hence Carly and Sonny as lovers. Sonny should have been allowed to evolve as a man. Hell all these characters have been in a static position since the '90s. The stories have moved forward but the have had little in the way of character development. Carly has only changed because it doesn't seem to matter who she's played by and each actress who takes a wack at it re-interprets her in their own way. It's a damn shame how the epic love story of Sonny and Brenda was made cheap. It's a damn shame that in a genre mostly viewed by women women are fed that they are nothing but desperate for a man. In love, in motherhood, in sex...nothing but desperate tools to prop up the ego of a man. Shame on the writers.
Linda Lopez You speak of this “epic” love story of Sonny/Brenda but she was always emotional, jealous and erratic when it came to Sonny, even when they started out, not all that classy if you ask me, now I will say this, she isn’t the only woman to act that way when it came to Sonny, she was the first but definitely wasn’t the last, but if we are going to bash Carly for acting that way then we have to acknowledge that all women were like this when it came to Sonny. That is on the writers for creating his relationships that way but it’s always been like that for Sonny and women, it never changed, since he appeared in 1993. His character though has evolved, he has become a father, learned he was a brother, and the biggest arc he has ever had was FINALLY being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2006. But realizing that he has always been Bipolar since he appeared in 1993, you start to realize the signs were always there. “Enemies to Lovers” is a popular romantic trope that was popular and had been done countless times in Movies, Television, Books, any form of media, way before GH decided to do it with Sonny and Carly, it’s even more popular than “Friends to Lovers” or “Love at first sight”. And considering that 20 years later Sonny and Carly are still going strong, and STILL has a pretty strong fan following, the writers we’re pretty smart to put them together, I mean even people like you who claim to hate them, are constantly watching videos of them and commenting. For the most part I enjoy all of Sonny’s relationships, (except Ava and Claudia), I believe he gave a part of himself to all the women in his life, and when he loved them, he truly loved them and thought it would be forever, but he for the most part always got in his own way. But when I think about who his soulmate is, the only one that truly pops into my head is Carly, because it literally has been 20 years and she has seen the good, bad, ugly, and downright despicable parts of him and yet she stayed, and she is the ONLY woman in his life that has done so. I do agree though that because so many different women have played Carly, it has created some weird disconnect between Carly as a character and Sonny/Carly as a couple, but at the same time I have always managed to find something special about Sonny/Carly no matter who was playing Carly.
@@nyeishaclark95 Well Carson isn't really going strong...there have been so many actresses to play the same character it can be said Carly is many different characters and not just one so Sonny has been able to experience different women under the Carly umbrella (as well as all the other women he had while with her). Also, I agree enemy to lover is a familiar trope but Carson has played mostly enemy to sex buddy to wed. Aside from weddings, the romance has been sparse, except of course that's not their kind of relationship, . Brenda was nervous about the violence in the beginning, not Sonny's feelings for her, she had him wrapped around her finger until her actions changed all that. Their story wasn't so much love at first sight but Good girl attracted to Bad boy. Labine wrote their story as a classic romance, they dated, got to know each other, fell in love, moved in together, broke up, the viewer got to see the relationship grow. The obsession part was a Guza thing, he was the one who had Brenda wear the wire as a matter of fact as well as all the drama that ensued. And Sonny/Brenda was epic due to the cultural impact it had on the 90s and actually still continues to have until this day. Carson not so much it never had the same cultural impact. Carson has fans, but not at the same level of transcendence that Sonny and Brenda experienced. And the fans of GH have dwindled over that 20 years and the union of Carson has had a lot to do with that. As a matter of fact Marcil is continually asked to come back on because Sonny and Brenda are a ratings draw, and more specifically, Marcil is a ratings winner. As a matter of fact Marcil's return is what saved GH from cancellation because of the ratings bump of the Sonny and Brenda wedding. Again, not one of the Carson's weddings ever brought that much attention nor excitement; at that the many weddings between the Carlies and Sonny (notice how there's only one Sonny and Brenda, but many Carlies) were mostly due to establish a connection between the new actress playing Carly and Sonny, plot device. And Sonny being diagnosed as bipolar is only one way to develop character, I wasn't really referring to that, though that was a step into some depth, more Sonny confronting himself and his poor decisions over the years, and having to experience the consequence of those choices. The marriage of Carly and Sonny, the lies told to Michael about his real dad AJ, the murder of AJ, the prison rape of Michael. The relationship has been mostly dark and toxic, which is not a trope, it's more of Guza and co attempting to be edgy and culturally relevant (hey look we're going to discuss male rape! but not discuss it much and never really show how it impacted or changed Sonny as a surrogate father or Carly as a mother...) Lots of darkness in that union all the while Carly being just as desperate to stay as you have stated...it saddens me how GH has devolved.
@@nyeishaclark95 Oh and don't get me wrong! I like SJB as Carly actually. I even like that she bedded Sonny, I just wish they hadn't made it into some sort of love story when to me it's a sex story, kind of like 9 1/2 Weeks. I hate that the producers replaced her all those times because to me she is the ONLY Carly. They replaced her to spite her after she fought with the execs from my memory...I think the relationship between Sonny and Carly should have been short, intense and only played by SJB who was slated to leave the show. Oh and her and Sean Kenan's AJ should have been put together (they have a show together now which is great) Her return should have been as Carly in 2008 and not Claudia Zaccharia...missed opportunity.

I love this comment.
This does it for me... Sarah Brown is the best and always will be the best Carly...
man, I love CarSon!
OMG Carly just flat out admitted her feelings w/o really admitting she feels connected in the heart and mind, Sonny do you not listen?
To us as women, yeah it was pretty obvious. But it was still in code. And Sonny, for all of his intelligence, is still a man 🤦🏽♀️😆

what was the song?
I think it was Earth's Cry by Santana

boy carly has got it made! jewelry from aj, jason, AND sonny.
Carly- you see how much easier it is when you let me have my way?
what Sonny wants to say- how bout you have your way with me? (trademark Sonny wink and click)
I wonder if Sarah Brown really didn't like seafood and incorporated it into the scene or if she was just really acting like it in the scene?
She's Jewish and seafood isn't kosher.
Carly in the bed aching wanting Sonny. I know she already regret that decision to sleep alone.
These were the scenes that made me give up on J&C...Carly need the candles and romance..
You gave them up for toxicity and boredom

Jason never romanced Carly, and never pursued her

Sarah Brown and Tamara Braun should be the only Carly's on g h ever
Awwwwww poor sonny at 11:12 he wanted to keep kissing her!!!

Sarah was beautiful
@matrixgirl83 Hahaha! Maybe Sonny was going to say there is something else I have to do to you. :) ;)
Why did Sara Brown leave g h in the first place
Partly she didn't think Carly would wear a wire... didn't like the story choices.
@Africana3789 Rollercoaster of torture! ROFL! Yeah it sure was! :)

Finally someone who shares my feelings! LOL

CarSon will forever be stale, irritating and forced, it got even worse now cause Maurice Bernard and Laura Wright have no chemistry at all!!
Claudio Cristovao agree :-)
wow you are so wrong theres chemistry and sonny is Hot
