I can't believe all the crazy things that have happened to Robin and Lucina. Not only did they get married, have their own time travel kid, and stopped Grima, but afterwards, they both participated in a multi-universe tournament (Smash Bros). And after that, at another point in time, they were sent to another universe along with Marth and Ike to help president Abraham Lincoln and his strike team fight aliens.
Ok so after actually playing that game I can tell you that there can be a point in time where robin exploded his foot by accidentally stepping on a land mine that the scare crow (from the wizard of oz) put down forcing the common protagonist from hp love craft's books (Randolph something) to run across the battlefield to heal him while Lucina provides cover fire with her bow. Also Abraham Lincoln has pacific rim fights with aliens in that game while he is in a giant mech version of himself. Also later on your crew tries to defend the necronomicon from the aliens so they can't raise a ghost alien army. Did I mention that this game is crazy because it's pretty crazy.

I actually buy this support. We see that both characters care for the other's wellbeing. We see Robin truly cares for Lucina and doesn't want to see her push herself or see her get hurt. He promises that he would remain by her and Chrom to secure a better future. So when the S support comes along, it seems genuine that they fell in love. One of the more believable supports if you ask me. Also Morgan gets Aether.
If I'm gonna be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if these two are actually canon. It makes sense storywise and characterwise. Not to mention there is literally that conversation with her in the hotspring dlc where he tells her that even if he dies, he'll come back, foreshadowing his own ending. Also, there is the judgement scene in chapter 21. It also makes the story itself better if they are married also. And since Morgan is from a different future than Lucina and company, then it would make sense if Robin ended up marrying a 2nd gen character, especially Lucina because she was one of the only characters that even interacted with Robin outside of supports and she is one of the three main characters of the game, with the other two being Robin and Chrom. Also, Robin and Lucina share common goals, defeat Grima, save the world and protect Chrom. They both have the weight of the world on their shoulders. In all honesty, Robin is probably the only guy Chrom would even let have romantic relations with his daughter. And lets face it, there is a good chance that deep down, Chrom wants Robin to be related to him in some way. There's also the fact that the pretty much go with each other to many different games besides their own, like Fates and Smash, they even got announced at the same time. Both of them are the faces of Awakening. Lucina would end up giving Robin more of a reason to fight back against Grima, because Robin wouldn't want her to have to go through the Hell that she calls her future twice again. There's also the fact that she fell in love with the guy who's Grima's vessel and the one that brings the apocalypse, and that right there adds so much more depth to the story and it's characters. And it's clear that they love each other. And in all honesty, it seemed Robin was into her since the beginning with the way he talks to her in his supports with her, and they low key flirt with each other the whole damn time.

In my first playthrough, I was a bit lazy and went for Lissa since she doesn't have any means to defend herself and I get 50% more XP. By the time Cordelia appeared, I already had the S-rank support with Lissa but the moment I saw Cordelia I thought "I've made a terrible mistake." Then Cherche appeared and it just kept making me feel worse. Then finally Lucina joined the party and I only thought "I fucked up". Finished the game, immediately started it all over again just to get Lucina. No regrets.

Do you know what it's like going through the game while your wife is constantly thinking about your best friend? I should've married Tharja she would've been loyal.

Darkbeast42 I'm willing to bet it's one of her default lines in the barracks or when stepping on an event tile. She is refering to Chrom but it should change the moment she marries someone. Too bad the budget was apparently so low that not only did Nintendo cut everyone's feet off, they also made marriage barely referenced in dialogue until the very end or aftermath of chapter 21 in case of Lucina's S-support.

This can only be fixed in two way. First, the avatar goes back into the future with Lucina or Second, Avatar and Lucina stay in Chrom's present time but you can't make Lucina Hold Lucina. My avatar married her which makes Morgan Chrom's grandaughter and also royalty. Which, if the second option, Lucina get's married AGAIN Chrom will have two entirely different grandchildren cause if when Morgan get's born she'll be around 18-20 when present Lucina get's married

I know I’m like 5+ years late to the party of this ship, but oh my god I love it. I first came across it in Smash Bros. I mained Lucina and then saw Robin and thought they were together based solely on the fact that they were from the same game (and that victory quote Robin says when you win against Lucina) After researching more about FE, I came to the conclusion that when I get the game, I will play as the male avatar just to marry Lucina. I read their supports and thought “huh, this is actually pretty cute.” And soon after playing the game and seeing the chapter 21 post battle scene really made me love this ship even more. I will always go down with this ship.
I would love for them to somehow make more appearances in new FE titles so I can have more interactions between these two. Unfortunately I doubt that will happen. But yeah this has to be my all time favorite ship!

This pairing is so Terminator-esque with the extra twist of Robin being both Sarah Connor (the love interest from the past) _and_ the Terminator (the Big Bad; he IS supposed to be Grima's vessel, after all). It's such a dramatic irony, I can't help but to love it.

Lucina is the most canon romance option for Robin considering his canon gender is essentially male, he is the protagonist and Lucina is technically one of the three main characters (the other two being Robin and Chrom), look at the way the story is built up, Lucina is the only female character in whose support conversations with Robin had Robin show some interest in her(He was flirting with her in these conversations. I have a theory: Robin developed a massive crush on her when her mask got cut to pieces by that assassin, revealing her beautiful face, on the night of Emmeryen's attempted assassination and has had the crush ever sense, which would explain why he's so flirty from the get go, but not too over flirty) and is the one support conversations of the two characters where it shows hints of romance for both sides instead of it being one sided(Robin and Tharja's supports, Tharja's love is one sided. Btw Robin/Tharja makes no sense. I just can't see Robin falling in love with his professional stalker. Also, in Lucina's supports with Gerome, Inigo, Yarne, Brady, and Laurent, I honestly don't see any hints of romance in their conversations like I do with Robin and Lucina's support conversations. Also, there is also the fact that Inigo is single in Fates, and he comes from after Awakening. I'm pretty sure Lucina wouldn't fall in love with a guy who literally flirts with anything that has a skirt, randomly went up to her in two support conversations to grab her face to twist it into a smile and tickle her, all against her will. It's funny how it took Inigo three conversations to make her smile while Robin got her to smile in all his support conversations) which actually makes the S support between Robin and Lucina so believable. Not to mention, in Robin and Lucina's conversations at the hotsprings has Robin foreshadowing his ending where he sacrifices himself to kill Grima and is brought back, he tells Lucina that even if he dies, he'll come back(Lucina is the only romance option he tells this to). In the hot springs dlc, Lucina is having an internal conflict about whether to put Robin or her mission first. In the end, she decides to put her mission first, but still states she loves Robin and that he's her greatest motivation for saving the world. In the judgement scene, she threw that crap out the window and put Robin first before her mission by not killing him because she loves him. She is the only romance option that shows any kind of character development in said romance. In this scene, their love for each other didn't weaken. Instead, this scene reinforced their love for one another, made their love for each other stronger. Also, Chrom seems fine with it, since he was spying on them in the bushes and didn't throw a fit. This romance is the best written romance in the game. There is no way in hell the team behind Awakening would put this insane amount of effort into writing the Robin/Lucina romance if it wasn't canon. There's also the fact the ygo with each other to every other game they get sent to(Warriors, Heroes, Fates, Smash, they shared their reveal trailer and a amibo box set together, and S.T.E.A.M). Hell, Nintendo pretty much treats Robin and Lucina like a couple. Also, Morgan looks the most like Lucina than any other female character. She has Lucina's cheekbones, nose, jawline, and mouth. Even her hair shape is similar to Lucina's, but a little shorter. Even if Morgan has a different mother(for example, Cordelia), Morgan still looks like Lucina, the only difference being the change of hair color. Yes, I know Morgan has black hair in Heroes and there is possibly two reasons for that without saying she is someone else's daughter: she probably inherited the hair color of one of Robin's grandparents on either his mother's side or Validar's side, or Nintendo made it that way to keep the identity of Robin's lover ambiguous. And before people say she's Tharja's daughter, I already said Robin wouldn't fall in love with his stalker and I highly doubt he would actually marry someone who treated his daughter like shit. Also, Lucina would actually be happiest with Robin. They have a daughter together, he was her first friend in the Shepards and the first person she talked to besides chrom and sumia, he helped her out with her self doubts and self importance, reminding her that she needs to take care of herself and that she's not alone. Robin is also the one person she is the most comfortable with besides Chrom, Sumia and Cynthia and more open with him. She is more comfortable and open with Robin than she is with her friends from the future. You can notice how closed off she is to them when compared to Robin. Also, she has been fighting alongside Robin in battles since day one because let's face it, she is suspicious of Robin because of his friendship with her father due to the mysterious identity of her father's killer, so I course she pairs up with Robin in battles to keep an eye on him, but Robin and Lucina gets closer to each other and Lucina falls in love with him. Robin pretty much lives with Chrom and Sumia at the palace, so at the end of the game, Lucina lives at the palace with Robin, their daughter Morgan, her parents and her younger self, which of whom she treats like an younger sister, and Chrom and Sumia changes the younger one's name to Lucy to avoid confusion between the two. And Robin is pretty much the only guy that Chrom would even let date Lucina.
This person simply has superior knowledge than the average.This ship is simply perfect and they described it with perfection as I imagine it in my head.

My OTP..Seriously, I love these two together. Sure it makes Morgan's existance kinda..questionable(But it also makes Morgan a freaking BEAST in battle..), but Robin and Lucina have genuine feelings for eachother, and you can really see it through these supports. And the special scene you see later on in the game...
Lucina reminds me of the girl I like, A LOT, someone who cares a lot about people in her life, who would do whatever it takes to protect her loved ones, and well, it doesn’t help that throughout my life, I’ve found myself striving to be like characters such as Robin, someone who will help those in need and is also somewhat of a wisecracking guy, someone who tries to bring hope for others when they seem at their lowest point I don’t know, maybe I just wanna give myself hope in a seemingly hopeless situation, but I got so happy when I heard Lucina say “I love you” to Robin, that was ADORABLE
My favourite headcanon is that Chrom secretly supports Lucina and Robin being together, but he doesn't say anything because he feels like he'll make the situation awkward

This is without a doubt one of the most awkward romances I've seen in a game (not the romance itself, just the details about it all, as Robin is Chrom's best friend, yet he's marrying his best friend's daughter). Still, I suppose Chrom would be fine with it as he knows Robin will treat Lucina well and always watch out for her, not to mention that Robin marrying Lucina could by itself help keep Lucina truly happy to help her get over most if not all of the bad memories from her past/future, and truly begin to just enjoy life.

Robin is with her in most of the games she goes to(Fates, Code Name Steam, Smash Bros, etc), it adds more to the story of awakening, Lucina is the only love interest of Robin that has an actual event with them that involved their marriage in it(The chapter 21 Judgement Scene), it adds more to her character as a whole. In the hotsprings DLC, Robin foreshadowed his own death saying that if he died, he will come back, and Lucina is the only one he tells this too if she is married to him. Robin gives Lucina a reason to stay in their world: so she can be with him and her family. Lucina gives Robin more of a reason to fight back against Grima and this would go in line with his actual personality, he wouldn't want Lucina to suffer through the Hell that was her future twice. And let's be honest here, Chrom wouldn't let anyone else date his daughter. Not Gerome, not Inigo, not Brady, not Yarne and not Laurent. Gerome: He's kind of a dick. Inigo: I like Inigo, but he is the only one here most likely to cheat on his wife, considering the fact he flirts with everyone woman he deems attractive and you should never trust pretty boys with your daughter. Yarne: I just don't see it. Laurent: apparently, the biggest reason some people ship Laurent with Lucina is because he calls her out on being a lone wolf. Robin literally does the same thing in his support with her, but in a nicer way that sounded more like advice. And I honestly think Laurent isn't her kind of guy so I don't see that working out at all. Brady: I just don't see it happening. The only one I really see happening is Robin. Also, Robin is the one character that she was most comfortable. She was more comfortable with him than she was with anyone else, including the 2nd gen characters.
I think of this as canon. Lucina shows the most love interest on Robin. You also get extra story content and all that. Also Lucina said that Robin is her greatest reason to saving the world and that really means a lot.
The S Rank convo is closer to a 1st gen support than a 2nd gen support: Specifically, Robin confesses his love to Lucina, as he does for a 1st gen lady. Compare that to 2nd gen S-Ranks where it's the lady confessing her love to Robin.

I really feel like the supports from Awakening were much better then the supports from fates. Awakening supports all had a sense of progression from C to B to A to S, while Fates can seem like C, B, A, and S all happened in the same conversation. Fates supports tended to stick on one subject that were entirely random ( PICKLES NOW I LOVE YOU ). While some Awakening supports stuck on one subject, like Robin and Severa, most did not. The ones that stuck on one subject weren't as random, were themed to fit the character, and seemed to progress well. I really hope the Fire Emblem Echos supports will be just as good as Awakening supports or better.

I found out earlier this month that Lucina's VA is Laura Bailey. One of many VA's that have voiced anime characters. One of the characters that I know of is Maka Albarn from Soul Eater.

Ok so after actually playing that game I can tell you that there can be a point in time where robin exploded his foot by accidentally stepping on a land mine that the scare crow (from the wizard of oz) put down forcing the common protagonist from hp love craft's books (Randolph something) to run across the battlefield to heal him while Lucina provides cover fire with her bow. Also Abraham Lincoln has pacific rim fights with aliens in that game while he is in a giant mech version of himself. Also later on your crew tries to defend the necronomicon from the aliens so they can't raise a ghost alien army. Did I mention that this game is crazy because it's pretty crazy.

I actually buy this support. We see that both characters care for the other's wellbeing. We see Robin truly cares for Lucina and doesn't want to see her push herself or see her get hurt. He promises that he would remain by her and Chrom to secure a better future. So when the S support comes along, it seems genuine that they fell in love. One of the more believable supports if you ask me.

If I'm gonna be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if these two are actually canon. It makes sense storywise and characterwise. Not to mention there is literally that conversation with her in the hotspring dlc where he tells her that even if he dies, he'll come back, foreshadowing his own ending. Also, there is the judgement scene in chapter 21. It also makes the story itself better if they are married also. And since Morgan is from a different future than Lucina and company, then it would make sense if Robin ended up marrying a 2nd gen character, especially Lucina because she was one of the only characters that even interacted with Robin outside of supports and she is one of the three main characters of the game, with the other two being Robin and Chrom. Also, Robin and Lucina share common goals, defeat Grima, save the world and protect Chrom. They both have the weight of the world on their shoulders. In all honesty, Robin is probably the only guy Chrom would even let have romantic relations with his daughter. And lets face it, there is a good chance that deep down, Chrom wants Robin to be related to him in some way. There's also the fact that the pretty much go with each other to many different games besides their own, like Fates and Smash, they even got announced at the same time. Both of them are the faces of Awakening. Lucina would end up giving Robin more of a reason to fight back against Grima, because Robin wouldn't want her to have to go through the Hell that she calls her future twice again. There's also the fact that she fell in love with the guy who's Grima's vessel and the one that brings the apocalypse, and that right there adds so much more depth to the story and it's characters. And it's clear that they love each other. And in all honesty, it seemed Robin was into her since the beginning with the way he talks to her in his supports with her, and they low key flirt with each other the whole damn time.

In my first playthrough, I was a bit lazy and went for Lissa since she doesn't have any means to defend herself and I get 50% more XP. By the time Cordelia appeared, I already had the S-rank support with Lissa but the moment I saw Cordelia I thought "I've made a terrible mistake." Then Cherche appeared and it just kept making me feel worse. Then finally Lucina joined the party and I only thought "I fucked up".
Finished the game, immediately started it all over again just to get Lucina.
No regrets.

Darkbeast42 I'm willing to bet it's one of her default lines in the barracks or when stepping on an event tile. She is refering to Chrom but it should change the moment she marries someone. Too bad the budget was apparently so low that not only did Nintendo cut everyone's feet off, they also made marriage barely referenced in dialogue until the very end or aftermath of chapter 21 in case of Lucina's S-support.

I know I’m like 5+ years late to the party of this ship, but oh my god I love it. I first came across it in Smash Bros. I mained Lucina and then saw Robin and thought they were together based solely on the fact that they were from the same game (and that victory quote Robin says when you win against Lucina) After researching more about FE, I came to the conclusion that when I get the game, I will play as the male avatar just to marry Lucina. I read their supports and thought “huh, this is actually pretty cute.” And soon after playing the game and seeing the chapter 21 post battle scene really made me love this ship even more. I will always go down with this ship.
I would love for them to somehow make more appearances in new FE titles so I can have more interactions between these two. Unfortunately I doubt that will happen. But yeah this has to be my all time favorite ship!

Lucina is the most canon romance option for Robin considering his canon gender is essentially male, he is the protagonist and Lucina is technically one of the three main characters (the other two being Robin and Chrom), look at the way the story is built up, Lucina is the only female character in whose support conversations with Robin had Robin show some interest in her(He was flirting with her in these conversations. I have a theory: Robin developed a massive crush on her when her mask got cut to pieces by that assassin, revealing her beautiful face, on the night of Emmeryen's attempted assassination and has had the crush ever sense, which would explain why he's so flirty from the get go, but not too over flirty) and is the one support conversations of the two characters where it shows hints of romance for both sides instead of it being one sided(Robin and Tharja's supports, Tharja's love is one sided. Btw Robin/Tharja makes no sense. I just can't see Robin falling in love with his professional stalker. Also, in Lucina's supports with Gerome, Inigo, Yarne, Brady, and Laurent, I honestly don't see any hints of romance in their conversations like I do with Robin and Lucina's support conversations. Also, there is also the fact that Inigo is single in Fates, and he comes from after Awakening. I'm pretty sure Lucina wouldn't fall in love with a guy who literally flirts with anything that has a skirt, randomly went up to her in two support conversations to grab her face to twist it into a smile and tickle her, all against her will. It's funny how it took Inigo three conversations to make her smile while Robin got her to smile in all his support conversations) which actually makes the S support between Robin and Lucina so believable. Not to mention, in Robin and Lucina's conversations at the hotsprings has Robin foreshadowing his ending where he sacrifices himself to kill Grima and is brought back, he tells Lucina that even if he dies, he'll come back(Lucina is the only romance option he tells this to). In the hot springs dlc, Lucina is having an internal conflict about whether to put Robin or her mission first. In the end, she decides to put her mission first, but still states she loves Robin and that he's her greatest motivation for saving the world. In the judgement scene, she threw that crap out the window and put Robin first before her mission by not killing him because she loves him. She is the only romance option that shows any kind of character development in said romance. In this scene, their love for each other didn't weaken. Instead, this scene reinforced their love for one another, made their love for each other stronger. Also, Chrom seems fine with it, since he was spying on them in the bushes and didn't throw a fit. This romance is the best written romance in the game. There is no way in hell the team behind Awakening would put this insane amount of effort into writing the Robin/Lucina romance if it wasn't canon. There's also the fact the ygo with each other to every other game they get sent to(Warriors, Heroes, Fates, Smash, they shared their reveal trailer and a amibo box set together, and S.T.E.A.M). Hell, Nintendo pretty much treats Robin and Lucina like a couple. Also, Morgan looks the most like Lucina than any other female character. She has Lucina's cheekbones, nose, jawline, and mouth. Even her hair shape is similar to Lucina's, but a little shorter. Even if Morgan has a different mother(for example, Cordelia), Morgan still looks like Lucina, the only difference being the change of hair color. Yes, I know Morgan has black hair in Heroes and there is possibly two reasons for that without saying she is someone else's daughter: she probably inherited the hair color of one of Robin's grandparents on either his mother's side or Validar's side, or Nintendo made it that way to keep the identity of Robin's lover ambiguous. And before people say she's Tharja's daughter, I already said Robin wouldn't fall in love with his stalker and I highly doubt he would actually marry someone who treated his daughter like shit. Also, Lucina would actually be happiest with Robin. They have a daughter together, he was her first friend in the Shepards and the first person she talked to besides chrom and sumia, he helped her out with her self doubts and self importance, reminding her that she needs to take care of herself and that she's not alone. Robin is also the one person she is the most comfortable with besides Chrom, Sumia and Cynthia and more open with him. She is more comfortable and open with Robin than she is with her friends from the future. You can notice how closed off she is to them when compared to Robin. Also, she has been fighting alongside Robin in battles since day one because let's face it, she is suspicious of Robin because of his friendship with her father due to the mysterious identity of her father's killer, so I course she pairs up with Robin in battles to keep an eye on him, but Robin and Lucina gets closer to each other and Lucina falls in love with him. Robin pretty much lives with Chrom and Sumia at the palace, so at the end of the game, Lucina lives at the palace with Robin, their daughter Morgan, her parents and her younger self, which of whom she treats like an younger sister, and Chrom and Sumia changes the younger one's name to Lucy to avoid confusion between the two. And Robin is pretty much the only guy that Chrom would even let date Lucina.

This is without a doubt one of the most awkward romances I've seen in a game (not the romance itself, just the details about it all, as Robin is Chrom's best friend, yet he's marrying his best friend's daughter). Still, I suppose Chrom would be fine with it as he knows Robin will treat Lucina well and always watch out for her, not to mention that Robin marrying Lucina could by itself help keep Lucina truly happy to help her get over most if not all of the bad memories from her past/future, and truly begin to just enjoy life.

Robin is with her in most of the games she goes to(Fates, Code Name Steam, Smash Bros, etc), it adds more to the story of awakening, Lucina is the only love interest of Robin that has an actual event with them that involved their marriage in it(The chapter 21 Judgement Scene), it adds more to her character as a whole. In the hotsprings DLC, Robin foreshadowed his own death saying that if he died, he will come back, and Lucina is the only one he tells this too if she is married to him. Robin gives Lucina a reason to stay in their world: so she can be with him and her family. Lucina gives Robin more of a reason to fight back against Grima and this would go in line with his actual personality, he wouldn't want Lucina to suffer through the Hell that was her future twice. And let's be honest here, Chrom wouldn't let anyone else date his daughter. Not Gerome, not Inigo, not Brady, not Yarne and not Laurent. Gerome: He's kind of a dick. Inigo: I like Inigo, but he is the only one here most likely to cheat on his wife, considering the fact he flirts with everyone woman he deems attractive and you should never trust pretty boys with your daughter. Yarne: I just don't see it. Laurent: apparently, the biggest reason some people ship Laurent with Lucina is because he calls her out on being a lone wolf. Robin literally does the same thing in his support with her, but in a nicer way that sounded more like advice. And I honestly think Laurent isn't her kind of guy so I don't see that working out at all. Brady: I just don't see it happening. The only one I really see happening is Robin. Also, Robin is the one character that she was most comfortable. She was more comfortable with him than she was with anyone else, including the 2nd gen characters.

I really feel like the supports from Awakening were much better then the supports from fates.
Awakening supports all had a sense of progression from C to B to A to S, while Fates can seem like C, B, A, and S all happened in the same conversation.
Fates supports tended to stick on one subject that were entirely random ( PICKLES NOW I LOVE YOU ). While some Awakening supports stuck on one subject, like Robin and Severa, most did not. The ones that stuck on one subject weren't as random, were themed to fit the character, and seemed to progress well. I really hope the Fire Emblem Echos supports will be just as good as Awakening supports or better.

I found out earlier this month that Lucina's VA is Laura Bailey. One of many VA's that have voiced anime characters. One of the characters that I know of is Maka Albarn from Soul Eater.

While it is a little strange with what Lucina being from the future and all, also seeing some kind of funny reaction from Chrom, I think it's a nice pairing. The MU really does look out for Lucina when she's troubled by her future and shows that he cares for her a lot. :3
