I was right. What a great game based on the cartoon show. And for that, cartoons and games did great back in the 2000s. Such as Assassin's Creed, Jacob 22, Splinter cell, Looney tunes, Ssx, Teen Titans, Twisted Metal Black, Tom and Jerry, Backyard wrestling 2 and the rest. Yes I know it sounds stupid that I grew up liking cartoons and games mixing together.
I had it for the ds. It was nothing like this. Different boss attacks, different animations, different cutscenes, different player attacks even different bosses too.

Doing a damageless run, however, sounds like torture.

I have to say, I played the DS version, and frankly the similarities are very much there. When playing on portable consoles vs TV consoles, there's usuay a huge shift in quality and gameplay mechanics. But the DS did not stray away from the Wii version that much at all!! I do have to say, the DS version is a bit harder with the clunkier controls. But man this game really celebrated Spongebob's golden years in TV and in cartoons.
alexandnacho YT I thought Atlantis Squarepantis was the best DS Spongebob game in my opinion. I’ve never played the truth or square but it was very similar to Atlantis but Atlantis let you play as Spongebob and some other characters

Man, I hope that sooner or later, they will remake this game too. I love that they are doing the Battle for Bikini Bottom Remake, and I hope they remakes other Spongebob games as well (The ones I would like most are: Spongebob The Movie, SpongeBob's Truth or Square, Creature from the Krusty Krab).

It took me years to realize that SpongeBob was scared from Patrick after calling him "Tubby" and then looks up to see that PatBot is coming down. I thought that Patrick turned into PatBot or something judging by his anger appearance before PatBot appears

I remember when my mom would take me to the Burlington coat factory and I would ask to watch videos on her phone and I would walk around watching these boss fights. 😂
