What a timeless queen Larson is. At such age she can still deliver it. The leadership and stability she brings to a team. Monza becomes more in system when she entered. Imagine being 34 and still playing at such level. Just wow! And she’s always calm inside the court. She’s got a great court vision. Always finding a way to make points. Great defense as always and great offense too. Indeed she’s an all around player.
She is amazing! The greatest volleyball player!

Sono d'accordo con chi sostiene che Conegliano sia stata troppo nervosa e confusionaria soprattutto nel quarto set e nel tie-break: troppi errori per Conegliano, alternanza di giocate sublimi, ad altre imbarazzanti (per il loro standard), brava Monza a tenere duro fino in fondo e crederci (da grande squadra). Secondo me molto bravo Gaspari a variare con Van Hacke che ha giocato molto meglio che in semifinale e Davyskiba, lasciando Stysiak in panchina a riposare e prendendosi anche un bel rischio. Tuttavia il secondo set di Conegliano è stato un saggio di "alta pallavolo" anche se il livello della partita era già altissimo. Vediamo in gara 2 (decisiva a questo punto) sicuramente Monza sarà caricatissima, ma se Conegliano ritrova continuità di gioco con il livello di secondo e terzo set non so come andrà a finire...
I agree with those who argue that Conegliano was too nervous and confusing especially in the fourth set and in the tie-break: too many mistakes for Conegliano, alternation of sublime plays, to others embarrassing (for their standard. after all and believe it (as a great team), in my opinion Gaspari was very good at varying with Van Hacke who played better than in the semifinals and Davyskiba, leaving Stysiak on the bench to rest and also taking a good risk. However the second set of Conegliano is it was an essay of "high volleyball" even if the level of the game was already very high. Let's see in game 2 (decisive at this point) Monza will certainly be very loaded, but if Conegliano finds continuity in the game with the second and third set level I don't know how will it end ...
for sure this kind of play from Conegliano will not be repeated. I don't agree that they are too nervous, I even found them very complacent on the 4th set and they thought that they can win the match. Conegliano did not see this coming! I am still rooting for them to bring the trophy and win the finals

I like Conegliano but I find myself rooting for Monza mainly because of our timeless queen, Larson.

Many miscommunication from Conegliano players.. Egonu has huge points but she gave her errors at the last set kkkk Monza read the tips and blocks well, Congrats👍 it's enjoyable match from both teams🤩
Sicuramente troppo nervosismo da parte di Conegliano, in certi momenti le giocatrici si scontravano le une con le altre ed è emblematico il penultimo punto con Folie che taglia la strada a Wolosz. In certe situazioni siamo abituati a vedere Egonu che aggiusta la partita con 5-6 schiacciate imprendibili, tutte out stavolta. Ci sta, Monza ha fatto bene quello che chiedeva l'allenatore nel finale, ovvero cambio palla, pressione in battuta, arginare per quanto possibile tutte le giocatrici tranne Egonu e pregare San Gennaro che Egonu sbagliasse. Così è stato e hanno meritatamente vinto.
I guess Vakıfbank and Conegliano have the same destiny today? They both got beaten by two on-fire teams (Fenerbahçe & Monza)
Monza is on & off but Fenerbahce has 2 monsters, Arina & Vargas. If they had better setter, they’d be THE powerhouse.
they both got used to winning, so after a while you are bound to lose sometimes. Both have the potential, but sometimes the underdog hunger is just too much
@@clarkkent5789 They have one of the best setter, Fenerbahce's problem was not was the setter, but the receiving, It was Terzic's choices, since his job got canceled in Russia all of a sudden, he changed his mind about trashy Lazerava and gave chance to the real player Melisa Vargas.
@@KroseAskina Naz is not as good anymore. She doesn’t utilize middle & quick attacks. It’s literally the raw talent of Arina & Vargas carrying the team. Meliha’s defense is the backbone. Gizem is not as she was in Vakif. The arrivals of the Russians really took the team next level.
@@clarkkent5789 Well it's a bit deeper than that , they couldn't play a fast game purely because of Arina and Lazerava could only hit high balls, we know Naz can organize fast attacks from the past and current game with Vargas now. And their last two games prove that.
Larson is the American version of Piccinini...I really admire them though!

Partita stranissima, altalenante per entrambe le squadre, come dimostrano i punteggi dei set. Senza nulla togliere a Monza che ha messo molta pressione con la battuta, Conegliano ha sbagliato tantissimo e lasciato cadere palloni per banali incomprensioni. Spero ritrovino il loro equilibrio. Monza è migliorata con Larsson, che dà una gran mano anche a livello mentale. Sarà una bella serie.

@@ajollypanda4175 It's a series, best of 3. So we'll get at least two other matches, more realistically we'll go for 4. About the girls, they'll just switch sides. Obviously about the money, mainly by Egonu's side. From a personal perspective she's seizing the moment, from a national team perspective, it's not that good to have your best player go 1000 miles away from the other team mates, I hope for the best. Haak was in Conegliano before Egonu, so I guess she'll rapidly integrate. The top teams are plotting wild trades this year, everything will be official after the finals

La differenza l'ha fatta l'autocontrollo. Conegliano troppo nervosa, non è riuscita a controllare le emozioni e si sono squagliate come neve al sole. Il problema delle bande di Conegliano è cronico. Da quando è arrivata Egonu chiaramente il gioco passa da lei, ma le compagne devono farsi trovare pronte. Plummer, Courtney, Sylla è tutta la stagione che giocano su livelli modesti. Se non alzano il loro livello per Conegliano sarà dura. Anche Wolosz quest'anno sta vivendo un momento di appannamento totale. Gestione discutibile delle centrali, e palle non sempre precise. Anche con ricezione perfetta fa fatica a mettere in ritmo le centrali e anche le palle che alza non sono così precise.

Le bande quest'anno dell'imoco un vero disastro. Mi domando come una squadra che debba giocare partite così importanti e ambisce a livelli alti, prenda due giocatrici mediocri se non scarse (Plummer)
Straordinaria Monza...perfetta e basta....su Conegliano: credo che sia stata un po' tradita dalle bande, stasera gattine più che pantere...Egonu è mancata un po' nel 5 set, ma nel totale ha un punteggio elevato, si gioca in sei e se mancano le altre...per dire: anche Haak ha menato di brutto in gara 1, ma senza le compagne, stessa musica....alla prossima!

I am a Vakifbank fan but i respect Team Monza! The girls cooperation were good!! They didn't gave up even though they were on hard situations; and i think that made the point for Monza!! for my opinion, thinking they can make to final if they play 2nd, and 3rd match as what they did today!
2 and 3 sets? Do you mean 1 and 4? The 2nd and 3rd sets ended 25-15 25-19 for Conegliano ... and among other things with a set played a lot, very well by Conegliano ... ;-)
