This glue and these nails are AMAZING! Trust her when she says “if you break one it’s gonna hurt” I ripped off my natural nail hitting it and it is painful! Best nails and nail glue I have ever used!!
Absolutely! This system is incredible. They're unbelievably strong and durable. And full coverage with built-in apex - SO much faster and easier than sculpting all that and then file, file, filing! I learned to do acrylics in school, back in the ancient days Never thought I would find anything I liked better than OPI. A few years ago I started trying different systems, mainly trying to find the ever-elusive "no odor" system. That's when I started playing with gels. This one, as you said, is definitely the best ever. They are apparently made to fit well on flatter nail beds, which works perfectly for me. The glue is incredible - unlike any other glue I've used. I think it maintains a bit of flexibility when cured making it much more durable. And yeah, the first time you jam one of those bad boys, you'll know how strong they really are!!
@@fredzzkidSo it literally reminds you of the old days and acrylic. I remember losing a nail and it was blood a guts, those thing were so well attached... lol I am really impressed with these, but scared because I have an wicked C curve and an extreme arch to my nails.. They do grow downwards... 😢
I'm getting ready to go to Nashville for a few days for a little vacation and, since I don't have to go to work for a week, doing my nails for the first time in over a year! I can't imagine a better time to watch an Emily video!!
The set is so cute! I think you stopped at the right time because they definitely look complete. Keen to see how the jelly trippy gels work out though, it looks like forbidden candy 😂
I used these tips last year. I have really curved natural nail beds so they didn't fit me but I still make sets for other ppl and practice nail art with them. The glue is really gummy even after it's cured so be mindful not to have too much spill out, you're nail files will thank you. That motion activated lamp is no joke and has a permanent spot on my desk! Loved the design Em 💜
there are these nails ive seen on tiktok where you can detach the tips and swap them out and stuff and i think it would be so cool to see you try them out
Emily video days are tge best days!!! This set was soooo pretty. It was cool to see uou do such a cohesive set, usually yours have more variety but i feel like this one paid off in the finak outcome! Id buy these tips for sure if i wanted to do a longer set.
I use these exclusively now. I have a physical job and they have come out with a shorter version that works for me. I also love that I have more time for design. I no longer have to use builder gel or acrylic to keep my nails. I do use a different glue but that’s because I like that brand. These typically last 3 weeks, but only because of natural nail growth. I use jello oil to get them off and do a new set. And never try to clip these down! I broke my tip clipper the first time because tipex didn’t have a medium length yet😂😂😂 I wouldn’t even try to use a drill either. The apex built in makes the shaping after trimming awkward to say the least.
I love these nails so much! I have also used the Beetles ones as well. These nails stay on forever. The glue is the best one out there that I have tried. I do have to use it with the normal glue like from kiss or whatever. I know I'm strange. There are a lot more sizes and shapes out now for both products. That is good because as much as I like my long nails it's nice to go short and these nails don't work well trying to cut them down. For me and my bad eyesight these are great and less steps and less products to buy. Happy you liked them. Hope you get to do a follow up about how you like them. Many hugs and much love, thank you for sharing you time with us.
I’m so in love with these nails!! I don’t want to go back to slim nails that pop off over the slightest thing your doing around the house besides my dog loves his “scratchies” sooo much more! 🐕 lol
Hi Ryan's mom Sam commenting.. love these them tips look so good I might have to check them out 😊 I have a great tip when using foils and foil glue once you have put the Foil glue on and cured it leave your nail with the foil glue on to cool right down like leave it for a good 15 minutes then put your foil on the cooler the nail tip the better and it works much better I now obsessed with foils 😅
I haven’t watched yet, but just gotta say I LOVE the Tipex nails. So sturdy! My last set lasted over a month. I did a fill halfway through. I finally had to take them off because I can’t stand the look of grown out nails underneath, but they were still solid.
This may be a dumb question but what is the difference between these and blank press on nails ? I love the idea of this product but I also wonder if they might be too strong, like I want my nails to be strong enough to not break easily but they also need to be weak enough that the tip is more likely to break off rather than the whole thing ripping off in one piece and taking half the natural nail with it. How does the strength compare to normal acrylic or polygel nails ? Because I feel like those are the ideal strength. Btw I love the design you did in this video so much, it’s gorgeous !
Press on nails (that come with glue) are made from plastic and typically thinner & not as strong. Standard (clear) full cover tips are made from gel and are slim but stronger and stiffer. These are made from gel and have an additional acrylic layer to add strength and height to the apex. These are definitely stronger than polygel and in my opinion seem a little stronger than acrylic. The worry they are too strong is definitely valid & something I thought about as well. I'm unsure if these would break in a hard hitting event 😅 I will include any issues like that after my wear test! Hope this helps?!
Is really hard good? I feel like of i hit something hard, id rather the fake nail break then my real name rip off of the nail bed 😅, the glassy look on them is so cool though, wonder if it could be worked into a design or something
Super excited to see your upload I’ve missed your content ❤. I love how this set turned out. Also side note but I’m totally loving the new hair colour it’s very beautiful.
I have used these and really love the strength! I use my fake nails as tools. The glue is great, being on the thicker side almost like a solid glue. I was very happy with this set.,
I have used them once so far and they last just as long as any other tips except they retain there shape and structure really well! I also like the idea of knowing that when im opening a can of soda or doing something that might bend normal tips that these tips do not bend or break! I really like them. ❤
I love them! I tried the coffin too, and Beetles has one that has the same name that I just tried today. Piggybacking off what you said about the possibility of them lifting your nail beds, I can attest to that. I did have the right size, but they were one so well, when I hit them, it lifted my nail bed slightly and bruised it. So definitely rights sizes and very careful when wearing them.
I love watching You testing out Amazon kits 🙌🏽 It always feels like You are talking to me directly so it's really easy to pay attention from start to finish. I appreciate Your detailed review. Hug's from Germany Miri 😘 PS: now that I finished watching I like to add that the design turned out so super duper pretty 🤩 And I was 45 years old when I learned I can use Top Coat as a foil glue 🙊🙈 that's amazing, I am always out of glue 😂 🙏🏽🙌🏽
I was looking at this kit/brand either last night or the night before and you just confirmed that it would be a good purchase. Thank you for reviewing!!!!
I really really like this glue. I have it as well and yes, it does stick without holding it. The only thing is it does end up lifting a little bit sooner than some of the other glues because it’s so flexible.
I was so happy to see you post!!! I always get so excited 😅💖 One thing I wanted to mention to you or anyone wanting to try these! There is a reason fake nails are a little flexible, if they’re flexible it’s more likely that they will bend rather than break. If the nail is too rigid, you are wayyyyy more likely hurt your real nails. I’ve accidentally made some sets too thick and unfortunately have cracked several nails in half in the middle of my nail bed. It hurts so bad 😭 Please just be careful with these!!
Hot tip . . . Clip a dual form over your foil before you do the long cure. It holds the foil flush to your nail while the adhesive cures. Then whip the foil off quick 😂 Also, I only recently discovered these tips and I adore them. Previously, I was using soft gel tips applied with polygel and overlayed with acrylic for strength. So time consuming! Now I use Dashing Diva Nail Guards and these Tipex tips. Only downside is that they don't make a stiletto . . . when they do 🎉 P.S. I'm a swim instructor, so I need my nails super strong and adhered well.
I've been using these for a while and I love them, but I was having to cut them way down to work for me. I'm glad they came out with shorter lengths and a variety of shapes.
i think some pearls woulve been really nice to add to the shimmer of the gold and hint of white you put but i still reallyyyy love the nails and youre so amzazing ive been watching you since before covid 💜
It's always a good day when Emily posts.
