I prefer nails that are already squared shaped or maybe even stilleto I get to practice my shaping and it doesn’t take me very long to finish! 😊

I love love love your universal tips! They are so much easier to work with. The universal tips have thinness to them so you don't have to file much to level them and they are pre-shaped, less filing all together. ❤
I like coffin tips they just look posh to me.

Speaking as a beginner tech, the pre shapes help a lot! But i would say I enjoy the square tips more only because im able to practice getting the shape i want vs it already being done for me.
Love the not polish tips by the way!!! Never had tips that are so universally made! It makes the process so much easier! Yes it’s good to learn how to make shapes with regular tips just in case that’s all you have to work with, but I’d replace all my tips with the not polish tips in a heartbeat because of the fact that no matter what shape the client wants these tips can be used for any shape or size that’s needed!!! Love these tips!!!!!! Thank you not polish for making my job so much easier! Not just with the tips but with the wide range of colors that I’ve been able to not have to use nail polish anymore!!! Makes things so much easier!! Definitely recommend all the products Not Polish has to offer!!

I used to only buy the square tips and just shape them to my liking, but I've used the universal tips. And LOVE THEM exactly as it says...its universal. You can create your coffin, almond, tapered square, round, in seconds with little filling. HIGHLY recommend. And I think the universal tips are beginner friendly.

I love the pre shaped that’s why I only use the not polished tips because they are absolutely perfect! And make every shape much easier to make. To answer your?, I was taught only on tips back in school(1999), and it was ONLY fiberglass or acrylics, they used only square tips, but, im self taught gels, I love sculpting on forms best, can create your own shapes! Thanks for these videos! I love watching you work!Best wishes on that new Baby!!

Beautiful nails. Great how to tips. I like pre shaped. The cramping is the baby crowning. That baby ready to come out. When it's time, you'll feel a lot of pressure like a pulling and pressure feeling. Then you'll start having labor contractions. Good luck with your delivery. 🙌🏿💪🏿

Hello Thao, beautiful design as always. I love the pre shaped tips. I’ve been using The Universal Tip from your line Not Polish since May. I bought 1 box to try them & fell in love with them.I bought 4 more boxes & stared storing them little by little since we were out of the salon in quarantine. I’m obsessed with them & I love them! The are ready for stiletto nails, almond nails, coffin, ballerina or you can make them more square for the square tapered set. I love the Universal tips because the save time on filing & shaping. They are the PERFECT Tips the best I’ve ever tried they fit ANY shape nail & are very easy to file. Love them!

Thanks for this i always wanted to know how to do 3D Art for Louis Vuitton lol But both it depends i loveeeeee per- shaped nails bc it cuts down the time and easier, I can just take out the pre-shaped tips and do my application plus im getting better and better day by day! But i still love the traditional tips as well! I haven't used the universal tips yet. I still love curved nails 😍 but I'm old school. Most of my clients like the preshaped tips and they help cut down on shapping time.

Good luck during labor sweetie!!! I had my first child with no epidural and it hurt like you would not believe however I'm so glad that I did it that way the first time I had the epidural with my second child and it was a lot lot lot lot less pain!! Good luck tho babe!!! You got this!!!

I’m a beginner so I like the preshaped nails. I’m still learning so I feel sooo accomplished when I lay my acrylic correctly n not have to do a whole lot of filing to shape the nails. I like the look of the tapered coffin tips. It looks more polished n classy to me.

I use both depending on what I'm doing. Preshaped - if designing a set of press-ons, since I'm using a nail stand. Square - if working on an actual hand, because it allows me to cut/file nails into different shapes. So my preference depends on what I'm doing. Thanks for the informative & encouraging videos and I like the fact that you repeat yourself...makes the tutorial easier to follow.

The preshape is what I prefer, I use the not polish stiletto because I can get several shapes out of them. It takes about the same amount of time to sculpt as using tips, however I think it's still at least a few min. Faster using tips, even more so if ur but good at sculpting & have to do a lot more shaping. & Yeessss I can tell ur ready to have ur little angel, will have that little angel in ur arms very, very soon, stay safe!! & I hope & pray ur delivery goes smoothly with no issues!!
I use a variety of tips, c-curve squares, straight coffin, or stiletto. But I prefer the coffin shaped ones. Some people like the tapered/coffin look or I can make it super coffin by cutting the edges more⚰️ or I can do stiletto or even a short almond shape. 👍not a lot of people like the old school square shape anymore. So I figured coffin is the way to go! 😝👍❤️

I just started creating nail art, so I prefer the preshaped tips. Great for beginners. I start my manicurist program next month so I’m sure I’ll learn the other way to shape tips.
I like both tips for different reasons. Preshaped are nice but sometimes different clients have fingers that look better with the square ones and then I just adjust it to whatever shape they like. Thank you for this tutorial I can’t wait to try it
