    Problem is also that people no longer willing to wait till economy is back and they won't wait until Milei's implement his idea to switch to US$... not sure though when most country want to go a currency backed by gold (rather than US debt) not sure Milei idea is good...

    • @Javier77040

      You not sure about many things lol.. well let me tell you some things, you said people who use pesos worth nothing, ok that's true but been like this since milei os ruling, the economy was much more stable than ever, inflation is high but still you can actually buy the things you need to survive, and about rich people is the only who win, that's wrong because Argentina have a big middle class and most of middle class have their saves on dollar, here on Argentina everyone save on dollars even the ones that are not rich, normal people have dollars a lot, so devalue the peso is not important at all, we save on dollars or if not we have properties or we have valuable items where we save, people who have nothing have nothing to lose that's true, but that people is the ones who vote for milei because that you say, we have nothing to lose trying the Milei's ways, so they are supporting and let Milei do wherever it need to fix economy, fire people, close public companies and represing the people who is violent, people is questioning about if will not wait and all says that will wait even 2 years if is necessary, we only go 6 months so yes the people is willing to wait... About the gold backed well also is not important at all, because Milei want to dollarise but even go further letting the people choose any kind of currency, even cryptos so if argentinian want gold, buy gold index things and is done, but why only gold when you have oil, lithium or anything else.. gold is just another resource on the map between lot more valuables and when milei dollarise argentinians will can use anything they want, while on world everyone will still playing with gold or experimental new things

      I am Argentine and from a lower class and I have dollars. Your idea that only the rich have dollars in Argentina is wrong. All Argentines have saved in dollars for 40 years. Distrust in the currency has been going on for a long time. This has made us the 2nd country with the most physical dollars in the world, although 95% of those dollars are outside the system due to distrust in the banks. Dollarization in Argentina is possible and could be beneficial for the country (although it has a con, which is that we would depend on the economic policies of the USA, meaning that if the USA goes to hell we too) but for dollarization to be implemented, we must first stabilize the economy because if you dollarize without a stable economy nothing will change and that is what Milei is doing. Stabilizing is a long and difficult process because we have to solve 40 years of economic problems but we Argentines trust the process and we want to get ahead

    • @Ezequiel-xf1ju
      @Ezequiel-xf1ju 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      In addition to dollarization, Milei's idea is also to create an Argentine cryptocurrency that works as a currency of daily use for people, that is, for normal purchases and payments we would use the crypto and for larger transactions, whether international or national, we would use dollars, although this is Just an idea and it is not yet confirmed that it will be put into practice.

    The comments section is full of those who simply have never studied Argentina's economic history and it is sad. The reforms being pushed by Milei, although advertised as being new, are in fact the exact policies that got Argentina into this crisis. Milei is a bought and paid for candidate by the US similar to Bolsonaro in Brazil. The US paid for his campaign because when he won he promised to dismantle the government departments by privatizing them and using the shares and profits to pay US debts. He also pledged to match the exchange rate to 1:1 for the us dollar. This allows US investors to legally plunder the economy by taking advantage of their compromised currency. Argentina owes US investors billions of dollars and was on the verge of defaulting. By supporting a candidate who would guarantee to pay these investors the US gets to collect on their debt.
