I just got that Ridgid 1/2 impact and man that's a beast and makes working on cars easier when I don't have air for my air tools

I ran into these yesterday at Harbor Freight and they were perfect for what I needed. I had all of my sockets in their designated holders in my toolbox but no where for my torx and hex bits. I still had room for these but I wanted to keep these bits separated. The little annoyance you pointed out was my favorite solution. I bought both 3/8 & 1/2 and swapped them to the slides for what I needed. Now I need 5, 1/4 slots holders to be done but HF was out of stock and I really don’t want to spend $22 for 5 little pieces. Maybe they’ll on clearance as an open packaging one day.
If anyone has 5, 1/4 they’re willing to part with let me know.

Good functional review. The performance you mentioned is better accomplished by the VIM MAGRAILS

Yes...your demonstration was simple and basic. That is how you want it. Don't take extensive time to explain and demonstrate what you did in less than 5 minutes. Nice job. Grow your site, buddy.

Thanks, I want my new videos I’m going to be doing soon to continue to be simple, to the point and less of a waste of time to watch because that’s what I would want.

@@TheFixFinder You probably are aware that people fast forward thru a video if it is too wordy. Many people spend 2-3 minutes on an unnecessary introduction. Best of luck.

From what I just seen on harbor freight they have a lifetime warranty on those specific ones

If you accidentally drop them, would sockets fall?

did you cut them to be shorter?

These are great indeed but yeah.. $21 each is way too much. Ares has a 3 piece set of these on Amazon for $24.

These are US general Magnetic Socket Rails. Ares 3 pcs Non magnetic rail is $24. Ares Magnetic Socket Rail cost more.

I started out with these and then saw that SK not only sells the same things in a green color, but they also sell spare socket clips for them and even shorter lengths of these rails.
I bought a whole bunch of SK ones with my student pricing and gave my few harbor freight ones to my dad. And of course I have a shitload of spare clips if I ever expand my sockets or if they break. they are expensive though through SK at full retail price.

Not smart putting that on the body of a vehicle unless we are talking about a crap box.

Most auto mechanics I know put them under the hood or on non-painted areas when working on a big truck, along with magnetic lights and sometimes part trays.

I'd laugh you tapped a little harder on those sockets mounted to the side of that door frame. To me that magnetic socket rail holder is made to go into your tool box drawer mounted flat with the sockets up vertical and that magnetic strip is there to keep it stable in the drawer and not move around when transporting the toolbox in the shop. Why are you complaining about the $20 price tag on it? At least your not buying a Snap on organizational socket holder which is way over price. You can always use Harbor & Hates 20% coupon that they give out in the mail or online i think to discount off the regular price. I bought one of those U.S. General magnetic socket holder rail in 3/8" drive to store my big Snap On deep and shallow sockets and i love it! I'm a die hard snap on tool person and this is one of the things i would throw into my snap on tool box.
