- CJ Sachs died from the injuries he sustained in an accident while driving his Allis Chalmers 8050. So this video is sitting down with his parents and best friend and looking at the farm that is home.
So sorry to hear about this young man I’m a truck driver for 37 yrs and grew up on a farm with my Mom and Dad and milked cows with my wife also always respect the farm equipment on the road ❤
I love CJ very much. Matt is the absolute man.
I miss my friend, I wish he wasn't taken from us.
Thank God for Matt.
Thanks for sharing this young man's story. Bless your family, hold your heads up, take a breath on a bad day look up and remember to smile. God Bless.
Wow, Ryan very powerful article. CJ‘s parents are some tough people to be able to sit down and do this article. My heart breaks for them. They’re only son. Prayers to everyone.
Hard not to tear up during this video
He was a great kid, wicked knowledgeable with Allis Chalmers. We talked on Facebook some and he had made the comment of how happy he was that you came to the farm this summer and talked tractors
Sorry to hear this bad news. Nice to see the mixed herd.
Bless his family!!!
Wow what a great tribute and prayers for his family they did cj justice with there time speaking of him great people ❤
thanks for sharing and stay safe out there, may he rest in peace and all the best to his family and friends :)
Distracted driving is a completely avoidable epidemic! A hard video to watch and harder to make on all sides. But thanks! Everyone please be safe
I am 62 years old and my sweetest and mot cherished memories are those times spent with my aunt and uncle on their farm. They inspired me, but starting was a problem but with an income of $57k monthly I was able to. My first year farming generated us $142k here in Tynan, TX. We never looked back, agriculture (ranch farming) is a gold mine
God bless you more abundantly for your generosity
But then, what do you do? How do you come about that in that period?
It is the digital market. That's been the secret to this wealth transfer. Thank you Jesus
Thanks to Mrs Kathleen Mary Vella
She's a licensed broker here in the states
Thanks for the nice video Ryan.
It was heartbreaking but told the story of a very fine young farmer.
My prayers and sympathy to this young farmers family and his best friend he milked and farmed with.
My blessings to all of them.
Ryan thanks for talking to this family so they could tell the story of their son. Bless them for doing this.
Thanks for talking about farm safety. So important.
Ryan you did a fine job with this video and the situation.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
🙏🙏💕💕🇺🇸
Thank you
My condolences & prayers to CJ‘s family
I have seen some stupid things when I've been on the road with farm equipment from people in a hurry. I guess l always did feel pretty safe on a tractor and it never really sank in just what could happen until now. I'm sorry for the family's loss. I never will forget this story and you can be sure l will be thinking of CJ every time my son or l is on the road with a tractor.
That's horrible, people on the roads don't care about our farmers. I was rear ended by a pickup truck while in a Bobcat 883. Feel lucky I walked away with hardly a scratch.
So sorry for the family's loss so sad I hope mat can continue on with the farm
I heard about CJ from my milk man ! Thank you and his family for sharing this!! God bless!🙏
Im at a loss for words. Christmas day of 2023 our daughter passed away at 43 unexpectedly she had no issues. She died on the farm doing what she loved to do. My heart is with you.
Wow. Sorry to hear that. People need to be careful around farm equipment. Semis drive way too fast.
Sorry to cjs parents. Im glad they want to make good come from a poor situation.
Tragic loss for his family and friends, and a loss for the agricultural community too.
Sorry to hear about CJ.
Thank you for finding the strength to share his story. He was a amazing young man, from a wonderful family...God's speed.
Pat from northwest WI
One of your best videos makes you think and rethink some not so smart things we have done and how drastic it could have turned out. Bless his family his friends and you. Life is so short as it is at 75 now I wonder often were did it all go so quick.
Cj was a good buddy of mine. Had a group of us down here in Kansas
Thanks Ryan, and CJ’s family, sorry for your loss
Thoughts and prayers to C J 's family
Rest in peace CJ
Thank you for sharing CJs story, Ryan. I heard about the accident over in MN. I am so sorry for his family's loss.
True dairy farmer
What a terrible loss. When I was 11, on February 7, 1983 my best friend was killed taking a manure spreader down an icy hill. The tractor jack knifed and rolled over on top of him. He was my first exposure to dairying when we were kids. I guess if there was any good to come out of its, I knew from that point on that farming was a dangerous occupation. The cattle and the equipment needed to be respected. But even when you're doing things right, things can still go wrong. Looks like there is another young man there who would sure appreciate the opportunity to be a permanent fixture there.
Sorry to hear about this unfortunate incident. Blessings to the family!
God Bless
Sad Sad.
July 6 2016 a good friend of mine was rear ended buy a semi that had the cruise set never touched the brakes he was killed on impact it has gotten so bad around here we have to out fit all our vehicles with extra strobes and have to get escort everywhere
Sad story, prayers for the family.
Thanks Ryan for the “tribute “ video hopefully it brings light to the dangers of farming
Never met this young man but he has my respect. Wish I could have known him. These are the types of people I want in my life. Rest in peace brother.
My deepest sympathy to the friends and family of CJ. Only a few have the desire to farm like CJ did.
So sorry this happened. I am a dairy farmer's daughter and my brothers are still farming and milking. It is so scary and I hope people realize how important farming is and to slow down and pay attention. Nothing is that important. Hoping for a safe harvest for all.
❤😢 we all need to think about this. Picking corn and chopping right now . The roads are full . And we are all in a hurry.
Like you mentioned Ryan, young people who wanna dairy are very rare, both are very special people. Very Sorry for this loss, shed a tear, and I never met the young man. Nice of his friend to help you with this week’s interview-thanks for sharing.
Rest In Peace
Such a nice lad i miss our regular conversations over the last 7 years
Happened a few miles from me, commute past the accident site twice a day. Think about him every time i go by. Its such a sad deal.
Omg... what a huge loss. As I watch this it just progressively gets horrible loss. Is there any family member to continue the farm going forward? This country needs young small farmers.
My sympathy to the family
Two years ago we had a motorcycle plow into the rock box of our 8310 at 60 mph during a left turn. To our knowledge neither occupant of the motorcycle will ever walk again.
So sad
My heart and prayers go out to CJs family and friends. Ryan thanks again for taking the time and effort to do this video.
Every day that goes by, I miss my baby brother more and more. He was one of the things that always kept me coming back to the farm to help or just for a beer. No matter how far I move away, I'll always be able to crash here so long as cows get milked in the morning.
Moving equipment here in the East seems to be getting worse by the year. I don't do a ton of road travel anymore, but still haul manure in the spring and fall for a week each on a state road, I often have people passing on blind turns on a road with a 45 mph speed limit which means most are going over 55. You really try not to think about it, because if you did you realize you are a sitting duck on the road here, they are narrow, no berm or ditch to get off into to get out of the way, and the other side is a drop off with guard rail. Lights on equipment used to help, but anymore I don't think it makes any difference, people don't see any lights unless they are low and in front of them. I don't know what the answer to this problem that is getting worse is, but I do know it sure isn't going to get any better.
I hope all the in the video continue the dairy operation, seems CJ would want that.
Thank you for this story
We are so blessed to have a guy like him
What kind of fn Richard puts an ad every 6 min on a video to "honor" someone?
So sorry for your loss prayers
