Matt Walsh is a religious maniac like some genderqueer activists. What I wouldn't give to see Sam debate Matt. Not gonna happen of course because Matt doesn't debate competent people unless he can cut the footage to suit his narrative.
Matt spoke with actual doctors and gender studies "professors" and "experts" that completely embarrassed themselves because they want to deny reality in the same exact way flat earthers do. What exactly makes you think that an idiot like Sam Seder that picks and chooses 30 seconds from a conversation that lasted more than 3 hours to dunk on Matt Walsh would fair any better? Just the fact that Sam considers prescribing drugs that can be potentially extremely dangerous like hormone blockers to kids as something unimportant should tell you that Sam is completely ignorant and should keep his mouth shut.
@@jpbm1873 @Jp Bm lol If you admit you hate Sam Seder you're also admitting you're rushing into the comments of a channel you hate to dick ride your favortie grifter. Also you don't know shit about trans healthcare dude, puberty blockers specifically is the totally reversable treatment. If you're talking about the "extremely dangerous" treatment then your probably thinking of HRT which you need to be 18 to take (or 16+ with parental consent) and is endorsed by The American Medical Association and The American Association of Pediatrics. I'd listen to the with the people who went to medical school and are held accountable over some jerk from DW+ if I were you 😂
I'm all in favor of Trans rights. But rushing minors into irreversible surgeries because of how they might feel about their sexual identity at one point in their childhood is insane and wrong and the right is correct to resist this trend. Kids go through phases sometimes and end up feeling completely differently later.
Sam is wrong. Walsh wasn't humiliated by Joe Rogan, who had his mouth fastened around Walsh's member, but Rogan's fact checker, Jamie, who ran down the facts and amplified them with good energy.
They ask us to stop talking about race. They ask us to stop talking about gender. They ask us to stop talking about our actual/factual history. Talking about this stuff makes them so uncomfortable. Why does anyone talking or reading about things make them so uncomfortable all the time? Why do they want to regulate everything we see and read and watch and listen to so much? This hasn't changed since I was a kid in the early/late 80's.... All it does is make more people want to talk about it. Ignoring or changing facts won't change that.
I usually feel secondhand embarrassment for people's mistakes, but I feel zero empathy at all for Walsh. He is truly an evil person, and he completely deserves all the embarrassment that he brings to himself.

I live in Loudoun Co. Walsh showed up to whine about trans people at our school board meetings and two seats were up for election this year. In Broadrun the Republican candidate is a neighbor, as in lives 2 doors up, and she is not some sort of bible thumping anti trans bigot like the GOP wants, she did tow the line on banning LGBTQ books. She has won by less than 100 votes in a three way race where all the candidates are close points wise. The progressive democrat being right behind her and the moderate a close 3rd. She has no chance of banning LGBTQ books. Leesburg the progressive beat the GOP candidate, a sheriffs deputy, by 20 points and the third party moderate did poorly.
Part of the problem by saying it's wrong for children to get hormone blockers etc? People don't know who they are until like age 30 lol. You always THINK you know who you are. But you realize at age 30 or near there that you had no clue. So allowing young, young kids to do things that alter their life and their development, and most of the time straight up coaxing them into it, is a bad idea. Even if you disagree, it's hard to see how someone who wants to protect children is a bad person... The worst I could see a rational person saying is that they disagree and he's misguided. Please explain exactly how he's a BAD person for wanting to protect kids from life-altering decisions that they 100% are not capable of and prepared to make.

Because at the end of the day, hatting trans doesnt help anyone and doesnt fix any problems. On the flip side, what else is he gonna talk about? Healthcare? Education? Taxing the rich?
@rey haha you called me an asshole for expressing an opinion you don't like, you're so bitter. I could say the exact same thing about Sam Seder, except that it's actually true in regards to him. Who has Matt Walsh debated? Anyone noteworthy?
I don't disagree with MW that GOP needs new leadership from the ground up, but what he really means by that is he wants all the remaining partly sensible republicans gone and replaced with THEOCRATIC FASCISTS like himself.
Pretty mild criticism I bet. After all what is a women is one of Matt Walsh worst documentary ever just because she thought Republican party would try to corrupt what she was going to said. Beside Republican party been winning for 40 years thanks to Pelosi and is spoiled rotten.
Walsh might have been struggling on JRE. He is obviously trans and homophobic, his opinion about marriage was kinda weird, too. But he made another point, which is important, everything starts little. So maybe only three digit numbers of kids are getting puberty blockers (wouldn’t be even one too many?), but maybe in five years the numbers are way higher? So isn’t his point and concern basically correct? Rogan and Walsh were on the same page most of the time, to say he was humiliated is a wishful thinking and not true IMO
"The Gay Men's Network sees the use of experimental Puberty Blockers as a danger to gender non-conforming children, many of whom are most likely to grow up to be gay, according to research. We have created an important, easy to read and handy set of fact sheets about the reality of Puberty Blockers."
Not really. If he's being considered an expert on the issue (which he was supposed to be in that context) and is clearly just making numbers up, that's pretty humiliating. You're saying he has a good point but that's based on two assumptions: That his claim of exponential growth is true (dubious at best) and that a single child receiving gender affirming care is actually harmful (which he didn't prove). So no he still doesn't have a point. Being on the same page as Joe Rogan is hardly a ringing endorsement either.
Yeah it's a slippery slope when we allow affirmation of these poor people's delusions of gender. Next thing we'll be giving them hormone drugs and mutilating their organs. Oh wait...
Well no, that’s a slippery slope fallacy, not all trends continue into infinity. Some increase is likely as long as more trans people feel comfortable coming out due to increasing social acceptance and with that some increase in medical treatments. Nothing wrong with this - they’re the medically necessary treatments.
Im not transphobe at all. But to think is fair to allow a biological male transition to woman to compete in women sports its insane. How can you people think that the trans women have no (physical) advantages against the females? Also, another point that is mind blowing to me is how can you think is ok to allow kids undergo hormone therapies. And this guy talking about Walsh making money? When the big pharma and all those doctors and therapists have the biggest interest in allowing all this.
Because scientific evidence says that in many cases, women are equal or superior to men. Also, isn't _the whole point of sports_ to put together a bunch of freaks of nature and have them compete against each other to see who is the best?
@@dariocarraresi1823 many case. First of all in many cases it has happened that the trans woman has won a fight, a run, a swim competition and so on. The thing that people do not grasp is that you can believe what you want & hold whatever beliefs strongly that you like......that does not give you the right to use them to spew vitriol & oppose the basic rights of whoever you have decided lifestyle does not fit within your views, beliefs & morals
You are conflating multiple concepts to make hate speech, interfering in another's autonomy, legislating religious view & restricting another's rights. You have a moral obligation to not be cruel or unkind to others. You have a right to your own beliefs. You do not have a right to call out an issue that you have no first hand experience either of & have know education on particularly when you are using it to justify your own bigotry, sexism & misogyny. Calling out an issue is calling out a gap in society which results in a group of people being disadvantaged. Issue & opinion are not interchangeable - opinions are like assholes, everyone has them & is you conflate your right to raise an issue & become someone who thinks you should ram your opinions down others thoughts as your inherent right to raise an issue, you can pretty much guarantee you are a giant @sshole You do not have a right to verbally attract, bully, encourage abuse & restrict the rights of someone because you disagree with their lifestyle - you can see a problem, but if it's not your problem it's none of your business. Matt Walsh is obsessively transphobic & misleads his viewer by spewing a vitriol of information he has invented - his actions & the actions of others are a major contributing factor as to why transgender people have a suicide rate of 41%. Dead transphobic people is what the outcome of this right to share an opinion by relabelling it as an issue. If they were not targeted as they are, experienced discrimination & hate crimes like they did we could realistically expect those rates to decrease down to what we see in other psychiatric conditions - even if gender dysmorphia stayed the group with the 2nd highest rate of suicide, it currently an statistical anomaly caused by societies treatment of them & conservatively is causing the suicide rate to double. The highest rates of suicide belong to intersexed individuals who have forced gender reassignment surgery at birth become physically women when they are genetically men who die at a rate of 56%. Suicide rates in the very few individuals who have escaped this barbaric practise & have been allowed to live as intersexed finding their own gender identity as they matured are believed to be around or slightly higher than the general community.....the actual numbers have been suppressed because the only guy to do the research was the guy lead the medical community into making forced gender reassignment surgery the standard treatment of intersex children against the mental health community & it ruined his self belief he was saving 44% of them not killing 56% of them. White Americans really need to stop focussing on this obsession they have for their rights & start considering g other people rights. They really need to realise their feelings are no more important than others. That's how you feel on insert topic, should not come with a complete blindness of the fact others have different feelings, an expectation your feelings matter more than others. Side note, because why not this is already long. I come from a biracial country & we have to identify the colour of each other skin because we are all one nationality - it hurt me to write white. We only label on a cultural level in order to acknowledge both cultures, plus so can both preserve & celbrate out native culture & the unique identity it gives us all.

Maybe 10 to 100 ever experience regret in transitioning annually and the majority experience better mental health from transitioning. No children are being castrated or coerced into it. But the trans population is small. And the ones that regret it is even smaller. It's 1% of 1% of the population of the US. Low estimate would be 10 feel regret and at a high it's 100. You're being fear mongered to think people want their kids to be trans when the only people that care if their child is gay or trans would be right wingers because they are actively against them. They would be devastated and try everything to tell them their children they aren't trans or gay. Even send them to a conversion camp to "pray the gay away". The problem with a pseudo intellectual like Matt Walsh is that he doesn't understand the process of research and he doesn't realize that it involves something more comprehensive than "cherry-picking interactions with other human beings in order to prop up your desired conclusion." The other thing he didn't realize was the pathological obsession with other people's genitals generally makes people stop thinking about you as a serious researcher and start considering you to be some sort of sexual predator or creep. I expect that's probably where his reasoning and yours also falls down flat because you don't have the self-awareness to understand that your behavior is f0cking creepy
Many people have some anecdotal experience with a Trans situation of some sort. They may not understand it but they don't want to ban things that don't understand. Same with abortion. Today means their is a good portion of positive humanity among us.
I started my transition 8 years ago knowing that only 1% of Americans had ever even met a trans person and I decided that I would increase that number and I transitioned in front of my corporate office full of a thousand people and made sure they all knew who I was.

If the GOP gets new leadership, let's hope they realize that Matt Walsh is part of the problem
Its a low bar, but a relevant one
Yeah this whole video is nonsense. He wasn't humiliated. He basically just disagreed flatly and left it at that.

The thing that people do not grasp is that you can believe what you want & hold whatever beliefs strongly that you like......that does not give you the right to use them to spew vitriol & oppose the basic rights of whoever you have decided lifestyle does not fit within your views, beliefs & morals
Everyone has the right to call out issues they see as a problem.
Issue & opinion are not interchangeable - opinions are like assholes, everyone has them & is you conflate your right to raise an issue & become someone who thinks you should ram your opinions down others thoughts as your inherent right to raise an issue, you can pretty much guarantee you are a giant @sshole
You do not have a right to verbally attract, bully, encourage abuse & restrict the rights of someone because you disagree with their lifestyle - you can see a problem, but if it's not your problem it's none of your business.

Doesn’t matter if it’s 1 or 1,000 kids, doesn’t matter if he said millions or 12. The fact you’re okay with giving children chemical castration shows exactly how “good” you are morally.
Statistics do matter even if they don't to you. No children transition in the US. Beta blockers are given and after years of counseling and affirming they want to transition then they can.
