I went to our local library and checked out "The Book of Phrases". Each popular phrase comes with a description of its roots, meaning, place of origin...ect. When I got to the phrase "One of a Kind", the only thing in the description box was a picture of Steve Irwin.
I'm always so impressed with Robert. He is eloquent and well spoken and he's going to influence a lot of people positively. I love watching the Irwin family progress.
My kids grew up watching the Irwin family. Terry and Steve did an incredible job raising Robert and Bindi. They both took my breath away when Robert walked Bindi down the isle. I adore this family so much as they taught my kids to respect all wildlife. ❤️

gosh I had no idea the irwins were still on tv this whole time besides when bindi had her daughter it was on the news I think.. Robert has grown into an educated man and he's very aware.. terri has done so well with both of them

I wonder what the Irwin's would think about the wild hippos that are propagating like crazy in Columbia right now and are just roaming the wild now because of Pablo Escobar. Some zoologists think it's a good thing because they replace a niche in the wild of large terrestrial herbavores who went extinct in south america and in the Amazon over 10,000 years ago. Other zoologists think they're an invasive species that are an absolute disaster waiting to happen as hippos are extremely territorial, aggressive and could change the ecosystem as they're ecosystem engineers but worst of all they could put already endangered species in further danger. Tapirs, pink river dolphins, jaguars and manatees will not know to avoid hippos and could easily be attacked. Manatees especially would be at the highest risk of injury because they're slow and have no way of defending themselves and must share the rivers with the hippos which hippos are most aggressive in the water. But I'd love to get their opinion on the subject. I personally side with the 2nd side, I think they're extremely dangerous and could easily throw off the already delicate balance of the Amazon. If they were the pygmy hippos,. I think I would be less worried... But common hippos seem so unbelievably dangerous.
