I think it’s also proud of her, like a brother - that was apparently Chinchillas first experience busking and Ren had talked her into trying it (from her interview on TH-cam if I recall correctly) - and I think Ren was grinning partly because he knew she would shine and she really did in that moment - and she apparently loved it and was so happy he’d got her to do it :)
