In today's video, we try to finish up installing the body pieces for my r32 gtr. Upon installing the rear diffuser, I decided it was a little too aggressive for the look of the car currently. This is the Car Shop Glow diffuser, made specifically for an Rx7, but can also be used for an R32 GTR. I think it just sticks out a little too far and throws off the look... what do you guys think?

If you were to shorten the diffuser from the inside side, so that the rear sits pressed on the bumper, it would look perfect 👍
i rather not cut it when i can sell it and get something proper for the car.

Damn I hate when things don’t work out the way you plan.😢 I love the way the Bee R side skirts look. Yeah your definitely right that rear diffuser is oversized and too aggressive for the car. Have to go with the Top Secret one instead

Yeah the rear diffuser does not goes well with the style of the car now.if you had like and insane aggressive kit super time attack style it will look so good.!!
IMO, if you're not gonna run the big wing or the diffuser, then you should take the huge front splitter with the mounting rod things off of the front bumper, and just run that carbon lip that the splitter is attached to/under. It would look more like a street car, and better match the Bee*R side skirts and carbon skirt extension things. Also, for something to go on the rear of the car, Bee*R makes rear bumper spats that match the side skirts. Idk how much they cost or how available they are, but it's an option.
Edit: I just found out that Bee*R makes basically a whole aero kit for the R32. Front lip and carbon "front splitter", the side skirts and carbon skirt extensions that you already have, and rear bumper "mud guards"/spats with carbon extensions to match everything else. If you can get the front and rear pieces, it would look sick!!

for the rear diffuser, I think if it had the same shape but didn't stick out too much it'd be perfect

99% sure if possible that diffuser would look dope on the R34 but top secret definitely the way for the 32!
It's always the little parts at the end that truly make the build one of a kind.

Those under trays are designed usually with a bumper cut to fit nicely

Yeah I think the same, if it was a crazy widebody + wing setup definitely yes, I would get something less aggressive for the r32. Maybe save it for when the time comes and you get an RX7.

Great R32 content Dustin. Excellent choice on the rear diffuser to not install it. For the exhaust you should have gone with a full Titanium exhaust for weight savings. Make that R32 slim down and go even faster for a bigger advantage at the track.

I'd hate to try keeping white wheels clean but they look so good! They really pop off that dark body color.
You only need rear spat imo, get something a bit aggressive just behind the rear wheel that dont go too far into the rear bumper and its gonna look perfect!
your right i does look out of place. i'd run the diffuser without the rear bumper. it wont look so bulky and i'll give it a street fighter look or cut the rear lip back some

The rear bumper needs to be cut so the diffuser centre sits about where the licence plate is. But that means you need to cut the boot floor and a lot of extra work
Definitely need rear spats to bring that rear quarter down lower in line with the side skirts. I dont even think a rear diffuser is 100% needed

I agree with you on the diffuser, it's way too much. I honestly think n1 rear spats plus the full exhaust will add enough to the rear to complete the look without the top secret diffuser. Especially if you remove the ARP splitter in the front and keep it as a time attack-only piece. Either way, we need more 32 content!!

every other r32 and r34 i’ve seen with this diffuser, it doesn’t stick that far out. Are you guys sure you used the proper brackets and mounting points?

Like a car show setup & track. Which is too aggressive for daily hit. U may put cf side rear lip for final touch. But for now it look goods. And i will stay with that if i were u. Just my opinion mate

the diffuser is perfect if you had a track only r32 but the look you have now its to much race Compared to rest of the. either sell it or keep for another r32 you go all out on.
