I've always knew these roads by their number and never their names, so I find that interesting. We were camping off of 1206 back in the 1970s, but I only knew it the number and only recently knew it as Yellow Gap.

For sure. Some apps and websites still use the numbers depending on the app/site you’re using.

Yeah man, I didn't really know about it either. One of the reasons for doing this project is to find and drive down every trail I can find in NC. Thanks to On X Offroad Maps, I was able to find so many more that I could have imagined!

Thanks man! Yeah, there are a few along the trails - just trying to keep these vids as simple as possible

Get a tripod. Show the vehicle and the interesting stuff along the way. Continuous shots are great for Hollywood fight scenes, but rather boring for outdoor footage.

First, I appreciate your feedback. If you check out any of the vids on my channel other than this series, you’ll see that is very much the case. Although boring to some, this series is simply meant to show the actual trail for those that are curious about the terrain itself… just a straight up GoPro mounted to the front bumper. I know some won’t like it, and honestly I understand what you’re saying, but take a minute to check out the Moab, Colorado or really any of my vids that aren’t in the NC Trails series, I’m sure you’ll find the shots you’re looking for! Thanks for watching!
