Fishing Rarotonga

Rarotonga offers splendid gamefishing, from wahoo, mahi mahi, yellowfin tuna through to the mighty blue marlin. In this video we spend 5 hours aboard Lady D, a 13m alloy fishing machine. We enjoy the comfort of a powercat and with top Shimano fishing gear and modern electronics aboard, that fish of a lifetime is always a possibility.. Local knowledgeable Cook Islanders skipper the boat.

Not recommended, but an attempt was made. Makos are rare here so locals probably not aware of consequences when a feisty mako feels a gaff! They tend not to observe catch and release either.
