Um El Faroud Wreck Dive - Malta 2023

The Um El Faroud was a motor tanker for Libya. During some repair work in 1995 at a Maltese dry dock there was an explosion resulting from the ignition of some unvented flammable gasses. This explosion killed 9 of the workers. She was scuttled off of the coast line and currently lies between the depths of 15 - 34m.

Hello! My name is Mauricio Ferreira. We went diving together, as part of a 4-person dive, on the 21st of this month at this wreck through the Divewise diving center. Hi, yeah I remember you! Sorry the footage isn't better I would've asked for a torch if I knew we were actually going inside the wreck and I definitely need something to hold my camera steady instead of just holding it. I'd be up for coming to Portugal so thanks for the invitation. I'm starting a new job in a couple of weeks so I'm going to be very busy for the next few months but if you have any social media that you want to give me then I'll give you a message when I'm free and we'll get something sorted.
