- Logging with Komatsu 951 Harvester, Komatsu Forest 931 XC, Ponsse ELK & Buffalo Forwarders and a Rottne F13 forwarding trailer - we filmed this forest machine for the removal of infested spruces near Cologne. The large forest machines of the forestry companies Pfau and Weis had to cut several thousand spruces that are affected by the bark beetle in the Rhein-Sieg district with the harvesters and then move out of the forest with forwarders and forwarders.

Erstmal fantastische Arbeit! Kamera, Schnitt und Kommentar sind einfach perfekt. Hier im Sauerland sieht es leider ähnlich katastrophal aus, auch hier gibt es mitunter große Kahlschläge. Ich hoffe, dass man den Borkenkäfer irgendwann irgendwie in den Griff bekommt.

Sehr gutes und informatives Video! Im Raum Rosenheim/Chiemsee wurden wir im Sommer 2020 vom Borkenkäfer verschont, da es sehr viel geregnet hat und dern Käfer sich anscheinend an die Ausgangssperre gehalten hat! Grüße vom Chiemsee, Sepp
