The culture respects him nowadays aside from those old heads and people who hated him back in the day for being white who still hate him for being white. Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, The Creator were heavily influenced by Eminem both citing him as an inspiration. You don’t have to love his catalog, but you have to admit his impact and generational status.

Honestly as a musician it's pretty comforting to know that super famous musicians have made their best works in their 30s, I'm only 25 and i often get insecure about having missed some imaginary window of opportunity, but said window obviously doesnt exist. People can make incredible art at any age.

Madvillainy wasn't strictly MF DOOM. It was MF DOOM and Madlib as a group called Madvillain.
DOOM is still the rapper. Even though Madlib technically co-formed Madvillain, he's just the producer, so not really considered.
