I remember distinctly that it was after the Dodger series to start the 2002 season when teams completely stopped even trying! There is no player in history to strike that much fear into opposing pitchers. He would have had 900 home runs without the rubber chickens!

That homer against NY was probably 600ft. 385 was a joke lol Yankees just trying not to be embarrassed... Maybe if you say that's where it landed as the crow flies. He totally crushed it.

5:56 Most of his swings are technically great and this is no exception, but this one had a little more violence in it than most.

I never seen someone hit the ball that hard that consistently in a postseason. Ever.

Very Last season Bonds & Kent played together with the Giants sadly at 7:10 is the very reason why they wouldn't play together the very next year even though Bonds wanted him to comeback to the Giants

The best batter to have ever play the game.

"If he throws me another ill hit it as far as I hit it off Percival"
And damned if he didn't almost do EXACTLY that. It was about 20 feet shorter but holy shit. He fucken crushed it.

Christ he had such an incredibly quick bat he could wait on that ball longer than anybody.

Striking him out was like drinking soup with a fork. A masterpiece performance at the plate every at bat

So I know they walked him a TON (he holds the single season and career walk records by a long shot) but WHY did they even pitch to him? 😂 They should've just walked him every single at bat.
