I believe I had this model back in the day. What always seemed odd to me was those speakers pointing towards you at like a 45 degree angle. Surely you would want the sound to spread wider by pointing them outwards instead of inwards but that is how Aiwa engineered it.
Exactly. And I believe that this "detail" (which makes all the difference) has to do with something else that I notice. I have an NSX V900 and an NSX 2200 and I can say with certainty that the general and surround sound of the NSX V900 is horrible compared to the general and surround sound of the NSX2200. I don't understand why it's so inconsistent. There are sonic elements to the songs that I can't hear on the NSX V900 and perfectly fine on the NSX 2200. I find this extremely disappointing, if only because I consider it the best looking of the lineup. So disappointing that I'm on the verge of selling. If anyone knows, please tell me. I know I installed everything correctly.

Well It isnt new lol just the previous owners kept the stickers on. And I would have but because the deck has lights in it they would block that and that would be pretty useless to not enjoy the glow while the stickers are on.

$30 RADIO cassettes and CD's dont work and scanning the stations again because it's 2021 and no one know's how to do that. Waste of money what do you do for a living that your able to just go and buy junk radios all the time?
Not really any of your concern. And the whole unit, remote included for 30 is a great deal. Just because you think its junk, doesn't mean other ppl think it is.

When i get a brand new aiwa i leave the stickers on. It keeps the stereo clean and look more new

dont push the tray in, use the button, otherwise u will ruin the motor.
nah it wont. a light push on the tray releases the switch inside and itll close the tray. same thing on cd rom drives on computers.
