You're lucky, I'd have to lash every bit of that, which means I (and the customer) would likely be waiting on a tree trim. Any time we follow our main line, we are required to overlash.
You should see about getting a ryobi or something wet/dry vac that goes on a 5 gal bucket. They got a blower port to launch the jetline out of. Vacuuming a mouse/plastic bag works wonders too. I wish they had such cool battery tools when i was doing it. I had to push fish tapes every inch of the way Jonard or some big name like that also make a throwing ball. Just a little soft and shaped like an avacado. It made just for tossing over trees like this with jetline tied to it
Ya they were right there where it dropped. Which don't bother me much since they are less than 5 dollars. If the sidecuts go missing I will search awhile to save that 30 bucks.
The bearings just fell out of it, it has been out in the rain too much. I will shoot a video this week about it when I change the lazy susan part. My other caddy that I use for the big rolls has been good other than the wood is starting to fall apart from being out in the weather also. This is the menards part I used Shepherd Hardware 12" Lazy Susan Turntable Bearing Model Number: 9549 Menard SKU: 2173362
under 250ft 50$ , we have 5 levels, 850ft and over is our longest pay, maybe $100, plus 50$ for modem activation. sidewalk bore, wall fish, bury drop also extra codes
This makes me thankful I left the cable tv installation industry a long time ago. I thought installing coax was bad. This is a whole new level of hell.
Is there a maximum length you can pull fiber? Good old google answered my question.... In general, single-mode fiber optic cable can be pulled for distances of up to 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) or more without requiring any signal regeneration or amplification. However, it is important to note that the actual distance can be influenced by factors like signal loss, attenuation, and dispersion.
Depends on where the OLT is and how many splits are on the PON. A remote OLT (6 miles) will have a shorter range than an OLT in a central office with climate control (12 miles). If you are just doing point to point connections then that range can be up to 75 miles.
COMMSCOPE FHD-X01B-1000F, it's the biggest premade mst style that they tell me . The regular roll we use is 2000ft. The longest is about 1200ft that I've done.
all the armchair quater backs are a chipping , why don't you get a trained squirrel to run on the wire? You have lots of patients doing a long run with these challenges , good job ! Hope you were paid well for the time
over 850ft is $100 for the drop, plus $50 for activation, got a wall fish charge , paid per splice, and also a custom labor charge for 5 hour install. came to like $225 45/hour
Engineered to perfection! Zero thought into how to install it. Gotta love it.
Nice video
Bangladesh
This is exactly how I feel when I try DIY projects around the house. Won't be too bad, 5 hours later and a stream of nonstop obscenities later.

omg man .... i must say .... respect ... all the har work! .... total respect

I'm interested in your lazy susan style reel stand. What did you use on the bottom? A standard lazy susan platter for a kitchen?

@@naturallyrootedgrowers Cheers man.
Would you rather pull above ground like this or below ground?
I prefer underground, I don't like getting the ladder out.
I like that idea you used for the pre term. Hope u don’t mind me snatching your idea. Lol. Clean work brother.
Where u from?
Northwest ohio. Not sure what pre term means, but I did upload a video of how the cable caddies where made.
It’s the mst cable. We run those and the flat gel wire too. Just needs to be spliced on both ends
This should be a 2 man crew,,no one wants to pay enough ,,, In new underground construction with 1/2 or 1/3 duct pulls, do 20 or more a day..
What you getting per bump pole?? Yall need plow crews out there?

I think we had a crew at one time pre dropping and burying but they went away. Now we just have plenty of "out of towners" doing shitty work
Whoever designed the network must hate installers 😂
Just like how Engineers love to make mechanics angry
I think that area was built a long time ago and all the techs had bucket trucks.

The internet is dead
Should have gotten a bucket assist on getting over those trees. No harness either? Dude if OSHA rolls up on you its gonna be bad. Be safe brother
What is the exact type of fiber and mfg you are using?

I hate fiber installs with a passion. 2000ft drops are always a good time
All those trees in my area would have been cut down to the ground not allowed here.
Why doesn’t the 1000ft fiber line come built on a pre-made spool? Would be so much easier
I never asked but im sure someones trying to save money however they can.

I appreciate the support.
Did this for years for Vz. I'm curious what a contractor gets paid for this ticket?

@@naturallyrootedgrowers Quick math question....$225.45 for the complete job? You typed 225.45/hour
$225 for job codes, breaks down to $45/h
@@naturallyrootedgrowers That's sweet.
You guys aren’t charged by power company if you put j hook in ?
I believe its included in the lease of the main line.
That sucks you gotta do those drops off a ladder,
