I’m in a small seaside town called Torquay in the south of England which is far away from Maine USA and found out about “origin” through jocko, I have the rift gi which has the dragon weave, the cut of this gi is something else! Please continue with what you are doing as it is absolutely pioneering stuff. Thanks guys ❤

1 roll in my rift today! Loving it!!! Hands down best fitting and most comfortable gi i own. Fabric feels amazing btw.. only complaint is price. Dont get me wrong i get why but add on the 25% tax (live in norway) and it gets a bit pricy....and now i need a black one🤔

so what is so different? what does it feel like? no one cares how it’s made with stitching or whatever, as long as it fits, and feels okay, it’s a good gi, especially at the price point WE NEEED TO KNOW
For some of us, it's about the Origin mission. I'm supporting a company that makes amazing products, supports the concept of American exceptionalism and the entrepreneurial spirit, and is employing folks in an area that has been struggling since so much of our manufacturing has gone overseas. which one was the best?
American craftmanship was good 30 yrs ago but because most or all factories have been shut down in the past 30 yrs American workers do not have the skills they once did. Shoyoroll tried making gi's in the States and it failed they were the worst gi's and they charged $50 more for because it was made in the States.
I've been a big admirer of you guys and what you're doing since I got into jiu jitsu. However, despite really wanting to get one your gis, I just don't like the fit/cut of them. A friend of mine has the Axiom and after trying on the jacket, I just can't see myself getting one. I'm a smaller guy and prefer a much more fitted gi than the jacket I put on -- it just felt too roomy and loose. While I didn't try on the pants, they look like a great fit and something I'd really enjoy in the future if you guys ever make a more fitted cut for the jacket. Keep doing what you're doing!
Caleb Gray what gi are you currently using?
@@swedishbutcher Shoyorolls fit me best, so I mainly use those. I've got a Moya and that's pretty good too, but Shoyoroll fits me like a glove.

@@swedishbutcher Shoyoroll are pretty expensive and are usually only available in limited runs. Moya is somewhat similar but with more availability.
The rift fit different than the axiom. It is way more fitted. I and not a huge fan of the fit on my axiom but the rift fits like a glove! I love it it truely is an unreal fit and fabric. I was iffy on spending 300 on this gi but after rolling in it i am 100% ok with it and want another....

In my opinion, the most important thing is to get on the mat, pay attention, study moves and train body and mind. Otherwise that fancy pants gi wont do nothin for you.

been wearing the gi..LOVE the top...The bottoms...less. the rope climbs above the loops and the belt, meh. I sewed more loops to contain the rope almost immediately myself. I learned from the first Origin gi I bought years ago. LOVE Origin. love the dream. the pants, less.
Had to turn it off b/c of the repetitive background music. Who thinks that makes a video better? It's not a musical piece 12 minutes long, it's 15 seconds repeated over and over.
