Another very helpful video. About to change mine at 78k with Champion RE16MC plugs, hoping there isn't any oil. I do get a "stutter" when accelerating in very high temps. BTW, where are y'all from? Czech? Keep up the good work!
My 2016 sputters at times also. Sometimes during idling, sometimes while accelerate. I figure either a certain plug is misfiring or they just all need to be replaced, even though it's only 5 years old.
@@rickysuave89, I ended up trading that car in for a Kia Optima. I changed the plugs but it still stuttered a bit. It's a shame, I really liked the Dart, it was a fun car to drive.

I am not sure why you have to disassemble all that for i mean it’s a great video but i managed to just replace all my spark plugs with just removing the engine cover and all spark plugs are located right on top and i just removed all the coil packs and had easy access to the spark plugs not sure why you have to remove all those other things to access the spark plugs 🤷🏻♂️
That clip that's broken is because it's in a threaded hole. Grab it with a needle nose, and unscrew it. I broke mine trying to pop it out with the tool. Why they put that in a threaded hole baffles me.

your channel has been very helpful to me
my son has a 2014 Dart….
so…. thank you!
Saved me so many times bros! Keep it up please!
Great job. KEEP UP the great work. Its video like this that makes me feel like I can do it all on my own.
I pulled my engine out and changed my spark plugs. Thanks, but that was a lot of work. Now, how do I get this engine back in??
😆 🤣
U weren’t supposed to pull your engine out he said he did it to just show more in depth
If you have a cherry picker to be able to pull an engine then you have the capability to put it back in 🤦♂️
How do I know if the cables etc. need to be replaced? Thank you for the video, my first feat at changing myself.
Thank you guys so much!
Is it super important to follow torque specs
generally if something has a torque spec, you should adhere to it

My 2013 2.0L just started sputtering, changing plugs tomorrow...any suggestions?
@@patsyparisi3000 - I don't know that motor. Does it run hot AF like the 2.4?

Is removing the intake really necessary?!?
Any idea where to find a replacement clip for the intake? Mine is broken as well.
Most hardware/auto stores sell them bc they are VERY common in vehicles

You can slow the speed in your settings
Why the spark plug did not have 20 ft. lbs. of torque when you removed it? looked very easy to loosen?
my dealer said 2 grand to change plugs in my 15 dart gt i told them to go eff themselves
Firestone was charging 106.00 and I'm still like "go fuck yourself "
Wow, they quoted me over $300 and I thought that was bad
@Milano87 I most def got quoted $1300 for just back struts. Got it done in my hometown for $200

Is there supposed to be oil on top like that?
Doing mine now and I have the same oil in those recesses. Very odd
I wondered the same thing. Found some on mine as well.
Stop when ya hear the click....as he goes 2 clicks more.
Dealership told me spark plugs were the brains of the car...
That would be you're ecu
Do I need to pull the engine out of the car to change the spark plugs
