    Wish I could understand. When he catches the leg, is he trying to explain the knee, hip and foot need to be in a straight line?

      I think he’s explaining that you shouldn’t extend your leg early as it’s easier to catch, he readjusts his leg to have a bend in, keeping a bend in your leg through contact and pushing through helps return the kick quicker

      Lol you don’t want full extension to be when/where you meet the target, but rather through the target. So if you’re knee isn’t bent you’re not kicking through the target. Basically lead you kick with your knee.

      ​@@OfficiallyEffective no he is saying you shouldn't kick with a bent knee as their is no power in it. Muay Thai kicks are about damage damage damage.
