The Saphymo SPP2 Gamma Scintillator is a design soley based off the 1950's Precision Radiation Instruments Model 111 and 111B. The SPP2 is a highly ruggedized version which uses common D Cell batteries and modern solid state circuitry. It remained in production from the 1970's until around 2019.
