It's only just now that I listen to Agnetha's own songs. Such a shame, thinking of what I've missed all those years! She's such a brilliant singer AND songwriter in het own right! And listening to this I finally come to understand the enormous influence she has undoubtably had to the "ABBA-sound" !!!!! I have underrated her for all those years, but I'll make up for it now and tell the world!
Those are my sentiments too Dallas. Agnetha's performances are as brilliant as her singing, she always adds nice visual extras that you miss on the cd. And of course we can admire her beauty and friendly personality here. I couldn't do a vid without all the backup info Dallas, the viewers deserve my best efforts! Her singing is magical, best I've ever heard!
You're right Jim. Agnetha's got a big backing line-up here, but she's the star and focus of attention. She's in charge now, after Abba, and can decide what and where to sing as it suits her!
Yes this is a nice upbeat song Mike, Agnetha clearly enjoys singing it. This song is fairly easy for her to sing as she's very self confident now, so she concentrates on giving a good presentation.
And she can sing fantastically too Becca! That's Agnetha, the finest and most beautiful female singer there has been! She's a very nice person also, everyone loves her!
You're right Bill, this song is very easy on the ears. You could play it many times over without tiring of it. Yes these lyrics give Agnetha the chance to act out the actions while singing, which she has always excelled at. She turns on the charm so well with her smiles, you can't help falling for her!
It's all of those attributes Max. Agnetha has a nice friendly loving personality, as well being a brilliant singer, performer and songwriter, in addition to being naturally beautiful. You don't come across many like her in a lifetime, in fact she's unique!
I know it is light-weight, but what a great song - just for fun. And addictive! I've listened to it 16 times since yesterday, and learned to play it on guitar. Agnetha the singer survived the breakup of ABBA VERY nicely. "You can talk me UP and Down, and all you do is tell me that."
She's certainly enjoying this singalong song Shay, and so are her backing group. She's moved into her more mature post Abba image now that she's choosing her own outfits here. I'm keeping on top of these as they occur now.
You're so right there Laura, Agnetha always puts as much into her performance as into her singing. Still some more to come from this show yet. Have you seen song 2 Wrap Your Arms Around Me? That's even more exciting than this one. Cheers, John.
Groovy Tamla Motown feeling. The Album Wrap Your Arms Around Me was recorded in Stockholm in the middle of northern winter of 1983. Nevertheless Agnetha's voice expresses light instead of darkness, warmth instead of cold, cheer instead of winter weariness.
I so like this. Yes, it is light weight but it is beautiful. She has gone beyond the ABBA costumes and sounds to produce her own. Not perfect but she so recognises the contribution of the backing singers and musicians - not so obvious in the ABBA years. She is still the best.
Cheers Jose. Frida deserves our attention too. I just find that Agnetha's songs and performances are that bit more captivating. I've cooled down now after her previous mind blowing performance. Nothing wrong with Agnethitis Jose, it does your heart good. Plenty of good guys here like Jim and Shay to provide it also.
I love the bouncy, early-motown vibe of this song. The Swedes seem to be particularly fond of this sound, as evidenced by Roxette's "Soul Deep," Ace of Base's "Cecilia" and "Always Have, Always Will," and the great 90s dance hit "Dedicated to You."
I thank God for making so nice and beautiful woman as Agnetha, are spectacular and we must bellisima Honors and tribute to her, I do and I see difficult that will be another woman like her, they feature no I do not think .. and negative poser if times have changed the best was the era of the 80 and especially the years 82 and 83 I think Agnetha was goddess of music and the best and lean like a god "THE DAY BEFORE YOU COME, LOVE YOU Agnetha thanks ...
Wow, John! With all these AWESOME vids of sweet Aggie, i think i got Agnethitis! Gotta get back to watchin' beautiful Frida or else you'll beat me to a pulp, Aggies your chick!lol, thanx again John, you're totally COOL!
Che voce, non ce n'è per nessuno. Agnetha numero 1 ❤❤
Gosh shes so pretty here. ❤and sounds so young.

She is so persuasive when singin. Shes THE master singin with such emotion in every song. You sway me just singin😘😉😇
A lovely song from the beautiful Agnetha
Agnetha’s stage charm lay in her ability to hold her dancing abilities back to express her devastating good looks when it came to very rhythmic music.
Read that Agnetha wrote this really cute song herself.Great work,my sweet Agnetha.Kudos, and God bless you.
Great throwback to Lesley Gore's days. Very 50s influence in this song. Agnetha showcases her talent in adapting vocally to different styles.
I can see why many bands at the time wanted Agnetha to front them, one being Richie Blackmor of Deep Purple and Rainbow
watching her perform this great song oooooh its so cute

its easy to sing because at least 75% of what your hearing if not 100% is playback.
And she can sing fantastically too Becca! That's Agnetha, the finest and most beautiful female singer there has been! She's a very nice person also, everyone loves her!
great video she really seems to enjoy this song

I'll certainly volunteer for that role Di.
I don't need any persuading to fall for georgeous Agnetha.
WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR THIS IS . I TOTALLY FORGOTTEN THIS SONG . THANKS FOR THE UPLOAD. AGNETHA THE NO1 BLONDE IN THE POP BUSINESS!!
I love this song. The first time I heard this, I was a bit surprised at the 50's sound, but she made it work.
I love you Anna ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

LOVE that look at 1:55. Whooo!
LOVE THIS AGGIE SONG SOOOOOOOOO MUCH :)

Yes that backing chorus clapping and jigging about certainly gives this performance a good dancing atmosphere Fiona. Another one for your mum here!
No persuasion needed about that Johan, Agnetha is naturally good looking. The close-ups here confirm she's still beautiful at 33.

Translation:I love when Agnetha says"up down".
Wow, John! With all these AWESOME vids of sweet Aggie, i think i got Agnethitis! Gotta get back to watchin' beautiful Frida or else you'll beat me to a pulp, Aggies your chick!lol, thanx again John, you're totally COOL!
Agnetha was 33 in 1983.
linda adorei
Always thought this sounded like a 50's cover, but it's written for Agnetha, right? Pity it isn't live, and even faded out...
sounds like motown influenced/ shes great.
abba2shay brought me here
instant ear candy
I sometimes imagine how it’s like when Agnetha and Frida sing this song together.
i got a bootleg copy of the beach boys singing this song. can't find it anywhere so i guess it is a one off.
All ED issues resolved by her voice!
i second that! lol
Потрясающая женщина. После распада АББА она продолжила их славу
Agnetha Fältskog
Is Linda Ulvaeus one of the backup singers?
No, the three backupsingers from left to right: Berit Andersson, Maritza Horn and Diana Nunez. Linda Ulvaeus was 10 years at the time.
No. She is in the "Walk in the Room" video.
