I literally couldn't stand her on The Office, so I was nervous when I first started Parks & Rec. Now I understand it was her character, Karen, who was bad, and not Rashida herself!
I can't be the only one who had the theory that after Jim dumps Karen for Pam at the end of The Office season 4, Karen suffers an emotional and mental breakdown and develops the personality of Ann Perkins and moves to Pawnee as a means of emotional escapism. Until she shows back up in The Office season 5 and 7.
