Ikr! They are way better than most American and Jrock bands out there...
Selphyra Ikinaka They're on the same record label as some popular american/english speaking bands now such as The Used, Enter Shikari and All Time Low, so hopefully we'll see more from them as they gain popularity and hopefully some US and UK or even Worldwide tours.
Correction this music is the new hope for American Music period.

I love how there are so many new people listening to Coldrain. They're getting exposed more and more, which is good! Glad I got to know about them waaaaaaaayyyyy before, and see them grow more and more. I love it when smaller bands get more exposure, and see people get into them. AWESOME!!! :D
I remember when Die Tomorrow only had 600,000 views, now its up around 1.7 million. Coldrain is well deserving of their fans, their music has been constantly playing on my iTunes ever since I first found out about them, hope they tour worldwide soon!

Devil Avail They are not completely Japanese . The singer is American with Japanese descent , and born in the USA , so good pronounces
+Avail the singer is called Masato David Hayakawa he's half japanese half american and speaks both languages fluently so no wonder his english is good ;D
ON OK ROCK are making most songs half or kompletle in English and Taka's English is really good too. And the younger brother of Taka, his name is Hiro, has an own band too called MY FIRST STORY and he sings really good in English too, but he has more Japanese in the songs than English...

They're better than OOR xD Every release is rock and no autotune :D (I love the old OOR, but the new is really crap...) And honestly: OOR lyrics aren't that good, like Coldrain lyrics. Even if you listen to The Beginning by OOR and then Gone by Coldrain. Masato can write really good stuff.
Well, I love both oor and coldrain. Love oor efforts mixture of nihongo and english in their lyrics and coldrain in all english lyrics. And yes, I miss oor old version rather than now version. They're quite changed and I hope it won't change their root. The beginning one of my favourite songs from them. I just can't comparing these 2 bands. They're good in their own ways. 😁 sumimasen.

Both of them are very very goooood at performing live, I 've seen OOR live once and coldrain live for three times, awed!
i think OOR is still way better than coldrain...taka has an amazing voice and the band plays very well be it studio or live performance...their songs are well written too...you just can't compare the english version of their songs to coldrain given that OOR is pure japanese and coldrain isn't (i'm referring to masato)...and for OOR's new album, i find it very much interesting...songs from their new album isn't crappy as what others think...in fact the more i listen to their new songs, the more i'm loving it...i like coldrain but i love OOR... ;)
