    Getting a stand-alone ecu was my biggest worry about going turbo. Now that I see how cheap these are, I might just go with it.

      Do it! I love mine. Had many frustrations when tuning, but that’s a software thing and not a SpeedyEFI thing. Got it pretty dialed with closed loop idle and everything

    Beening trying to get my miata going with this stand alone ECU (SpeedyEFI) I’ve watched tons on video on how to tune and I can’t get this thing to even idle, it’s been almost a year now, summers coming up and I don’t want to waste another summer with my car not driving, why is it that some people and pick up tuning like nothing and I’m stuck here a year later still trying to idle out of my driveway

    Hey man I’ve got a speedyefi ecu and can’t seem to get my car starting. I’ve had it running before but the coldstart and warm start where trash. Any help?

      Man it's been a while since I tuned, so let me try from memory... In your start settings, set your starting timing offset to 10. Attempt to start the car, if you're getting starter kickback, you have too much timing. If you're getting popping and banging out the exhaust, it's likely too much fuel, so pull some out via the fuel table. If you have to give it some pedal to get it to start, it either needs more fuel, more air, or both. You can adjust the fuel in your fuel table, and the air via the IAC starting values. I THINK I had my IAC set to almost completely wide open on cold start.

      Never did. I drove it around on the tune I made, and sold the car that way.

      The exhintake mod is using a exhaust cam from a DOHC 94-95 Mazda mx3 in place of the intake cam on the miata

    Does this ecu support the speedometer and rpm/ oil gauges?

      this only controls the engine, everything in your car will work as it did before. the computer is for engine management. hope this helps

    So with the gm iat sensor, you could just delete the MAF with the air box right?
