I just wanna enlighten everyone on why his voice may not sound “on point” or sound drunk or whatever reason they’re throwing out there. Notice how when he started Basket Case and there was awful echo and it went away? The sound engineer had to cut off any other live microphones other than the close mics to each drum, amp, or Billie himself. When you get pure sound isolation on a directional microphone without any sort of room mics, it’s gonna sound inconstant and you’ll hear every single detail wether it’s distance change from his mouth to the mic, sounding out of key, etc. that’s what reverb from room mics kind of mask. And yes, the man is getting old. He was like 22 when he recorded Basket Case and was 32 when he recorded American Idiot and I’m sure smoking, drinking, and drugs have deteriorated his vocal chords over the last 30 years. It is what it is. Just thought I would give everyone that info so they know why it may sound off.

People were confused, it was super cold, and a good portion of the people there were just hockey fans stopping by to see what was happening since it was a free show. If you're talking about Ready Aim Fire, its because they played it twice. People were confused, it was super cold, and a good portion of the people there were just hockey fans stopping by to see what was happening since it was a free show. I don't think they wanted to play it a second time and when they did, the energy died down for sure.

Really? I think age is catching up to him, in the latest concerts i've seen he doesn't sound as good as he used to just a few years ago
I honestly wish he'd stop writing songs that are either at the very top of or entirely out of his regular vocal range. They sound good in the studio, but they're always pretty painful live, i.e. Still Breathing, Father of All, Fire Ready Aim, etc.
The new record is absolutely horrible been a fan since kerplunk and won’t bother buying the newest garbage they are releasing in 2020!
