It's a wonderfully breezy, action-packed, and highly adaptable system. We've house-ruled it into our favorite skirmish game, running battles in settings ranging from Masters of the Universe to our own retro science fiction milieu.
Sounds interesting. I'm a dice guy by nature but it has some built in complexities with colors and suits. Neat idea Buddy!!!! I bought a TON of hadross!!!! LOVE that army!!!! Well I'll be making it into a table top army one of these years :)!!!!! Trying to find a box and there will be some extra goodies if we can get them to fit. Take care Big Guy:)!!!!!
@@terrainaholic I enjoy my dice, but this was very easy to set up, hardly any book keeping so it is good for solo gaming. I love hadross, I use those models for deep wars and shadow sea too. Thanks for watching 🙂
@@pokepete3 👍 just want to say I had the movement rule correct the first time, you pay 1pt for first move, if moving again, add 3 more for a total of 4pt cost. I am going to correct in future.
@@thepardoner2059 the first time I had it incorrect, I added the 1 to the 3 for a 4. That is not correct. I corrected that in the rest of the game, so I did exactly what you mention after the correction. So basically had it correct the rest of the game, the first time I had confused it a bit lol
@thepardoner2059 the rules did not specify that clearly. No where in the rules i am reading does it specifically say you have to add the 3 extra pts. It simply says it costs 3 to make a double move. So before moving I have to decide if I am making a single, double, or triple, move this 3 should already include the 1 cost of a single move. The video I watched didn't specify the adding bit either. So here it is open to interpretation, it's not wrong or right. However, I do see your point, the first way makes a little more sense now. Either way, I will take note and mention it in future since I am playing a house ruled fantasy game anyway. This way people know it's my house rule if I decide to keep it the second way, Thanks...🙂👍
@@mjhobbycorner5503 On p6 it says: "A player may move a model more than once but the second move costs three Action Points and the third move costs five." Nowhere does it say anything about adding. Thus if a model moves twice it will use a total of 4APs and if it moves three times it will use a total of 9APs. Not that it matters that much as long as you are consistent. That's the beauty of these rules - they are so tweakable!
@mikeelliott2736 it just did not make sense to me at first. My problem was, that I had it right the first time, you add 3 to the 1 pt for a total of 4 pts cost to the second move, the third move would then cost 9, if adding the 5. This was a matter of misinterpretation so nothing on the page was going to remedy that. Though the rules are a little vague here. I started thinking about thepardoner's comment and played around with the models a bit and suddenly it hit me, yes I did it right the first time just as the comment said, hurray!. Now I have to correct it in later videos if I decide to play. Thanks for adding your input, it helps🙂

Very interesting, I noticed that about the system. It was so easy to incorporate the scenario from the other book

You had the movement rules correct the first time. 1st move: 1 AP. 2nd move: 3 AP. 3rd move: 5 AP.

@@mjhobbycorner5503 No. Adding the 1 to the 3 for a 4, etc., is actually correct. You had it right at the beginning.
