Just been singing along with the Collingsworth family as we decorate our Christmas tree in Fraserburgh, Scotland. Thank you. So many of these hymns and choruses are the ones we grew up with singing in our church and with family singing. Wish we could be with you in person. David and Helen Runcie. XX
These songs speak way more than the commercial music they now sing. I watch none of their concerts because it appears to have become more of a show than inspiration.
After stumbling upon your videos for the first time last week, I sent a few links to my sister. I now live in New Zealand with my wife and kids and my sister is back in native South Africa with her family. We both listened to some of these together and I think we were both crying on opposite sides of the globe, at the same time... This is how we grew up with my dad behind the piano and all the uncles, aunts, and cousins around singing for weekends on end, only to break for meals.... This brought back so many memories for us both and was awesome to see how other families are doing exactly the same thing!! PS: If I'm ever in your part of the world, wherever that is - I'm crashing your party (to sit in the corner and listen, I promise!) :) Many blessings from all corners of the earth...
