Love this! Clalec is my BROTP. In the beginning Alec could not stand Clary because she came in and upturned his perfectly orchestrated life. Her actions forced him to get out of his comfort zone and make decisions against the Clave. In season 2 he became more protective of her. I think if everything goes back to normal, they would be awesome friends. Magnus adores Clary and, in my opinion, Alec will always have gratitude and respect for the huge sacrifice Clary made to save the world full knowing that the Angel will punish her. He understands commitment and acting in the best interest of everyone at great personal costs. That was where he was when she crashed into his life. CLALEC = BROTP

I think that Magnus is more like an uncle/father figure to Clary. Obviously not as much as Luke is a father figure but the way he looks after her and calls her biscuit just screams parental love.
