Playing instruments not accustomed to their cultures and singing songs in English language that they can barely speak and still puts 90% of the band in the world to shame, what a great job. Their new stuff is a level up of sorts. The title track to their new album "Judgement Day" is amazing. The solo section is the best I've ever hear, and Fami the new bassist adds a whole new technical level to the bass in the band. Official music video is on their TH-cam channel. Great reaction.
Good reaction. Great concert during Covid. They also performed this song live in 2020, Five of a Kind show. This song is about them written by Miyako. She wanted to call it LoveBites, but later when Asami wrote the lyrics they decided to change the name. Thanks for this reaction. 🤘🐺

i´m a fan of Lovebites since 2 jears i think, i hear alot from this Band and i love all songs specifically the last 2 Albums. This is the Band which made it that i buy a E-Guitar and learn to play (whith my 41 jears) 🥰! the other thing is ... i hear a cover from this Girls (Halloween Cover - Fly Eagle Free) and i so in love with Haruna 🤣🤘🔥 and i sub both of your channels 😋
So, their current set list is comprised of most, if not all of their most difficult pieces from the past. I think they only play two or three off of the Judgement day album. This was the second LB song, I discovered in YT about a two and half years ago. That performance was from the 2020 Tokyo concert. First was Holy War, which was also your first reaction to Lovebites. Already after these two songs my soul was sold and LB came to my number-one band in the world. It's interesting to watch your first reaction when you jumbed to unknown and now when you already know, about what will happen.

At the time of that show Miyako (dark haired guitarist) was 4 and a half months pregnant. And sadly it was the last tour Miho (bassist) would be with them as a band member. It must of been so disappointing to have the audience limited to applause due to covid restrictions. But a great show never the less.

Lovebites seek to improve album upon album…not as a cliche, but the next album is, to them, a step upwards, not just another release. Then, they write challenging songs that are perhaps just beyond their current abilities. After days and days of practice, it goes on the album. And if it’s on an album, it means it’s ready for performing live.

Lovebites doesn{t have a bad song, IMO, but TBH this one.. I don't get the fuss. Musically it's a powerhouse liek most, but it's possibly Asami's weakest vocal line in the catalog, with the least dynamic shifts. Still not saying it's a bad song, but this was actually the first Lovebites song I ever heard and TBH it's kind of why it took me 6 months to go back for more.. because it's about as stock P Metal as they go. Just didn't hear anything new or amazing in it, after listening to tons of Stratavarius, Sonata Arctica, etc, etc. Even after 4 yrs of fanhood, it's.. bottom 5 for me.
