I remember my wife and I watching this for the first time and seconds into Miyako’s guitar solo, my wife asks, “Is Miyako pregnant?” Yes, yes Miyako was a few months pregnant.

In order to avoid outbreaks of covid-19, audience was less than half the capacity of the venue, audience wore masks, they were not allowed to speak out, and audience could only clap.
I often catch myself on Lovebites trying to make sure I'm watching the video at normal speed - this band is phenomenal!
"Strap in for the next two hours.." was the silent message at the end of that.

And Miyako was 4 months pregnant! Ah, i forget, in the 21 of June will be the exit of the new EP with 6 metal songs covers on piano by Miyako. If you want to see the first video: "Eagle fly free" (piano cover of Helloween). In this, you can notice not only her skills in execution, but in the transformation of metal song in classical piece with an her awesome arrangement. Thanks.

Their new stuff is a level up of sorts. The title track to their new album "Judgement Day" is amazing. The solo section is the best I've ever hear, and Fami the new bassist adds a whole new technical level to the bass in the band. Official music video is on their TH-cam channel. Great reaction.
Good reaction. Great concert during Covid. They also performed this song live in 2020, Five of a Kind show. This song is about them written by Miyako. She wanted to call it LoveBites, but later when Asami wrote the lyrics they decided to change the name. Thanks for this reaction. 🤘🐺
The guitaring always reminded me of Helloween
Actually, 14% is pretty good--better than most reaction channels.
At the time of that show Miyako (dark haired guitarist) was 4 and a half months pregnant. And sadly it was the last tour Miho (bassist) would be with them as a band member. It must of been so disappointing to have the audience limited to applause due to covid restrictions. But a great show never the less.
i´m a fan of Lovebites since 2 jears i think, i hear alot from this Band and i love all songs specifically the last 2 Albums. This is the Band which made it that i buy a E-Guitar and learn to play (whith my 41 jears) 🥰! the other thing is ... i hear a cover from this Girls (Halloween Cover - Fly Eagle Free) and i so in love with Haruna 🤣🤘🔥 and i sub both of your channels 😋
Great reaction video! YES! That´s Lovebites! For me, the best Metal&Rock band in Japan. One of the best Metal&Rock bands in the world. I love all songs and covers from this band. Did you hear piano version by Miyako of Eagle Fly Free by Helloween? An unbelievable experience. The first piano version of this legendary Helloween song from 1988! Have a good day!

So, their current set list is comprised of most, if not all of their most difficult pieces from the past. I think they only play two or three off of the Judgement day album. This was the second LB song, I discovered in YT about a two and half years ago. That performance was from the 2020 Tokyo concert. First was Holy War, which was also your first reaction to Lovebites. Already after these two songs my soul was sold and LB came to my number-one band in the world. It's interesting to watch your first reaction when you jumbed to unknown and now when you already know, about what will happen.
Can't go wrong with Lovebites, they really do deliver their songs on stage as they do in the studio.

This live performance has a special meaning. They tried to hold a live show many times, but they were not allowed to hold a live show due to the barrier of pandemic measures. And finally we were able to get permission to hold this live. And this song is the start. You can see that the expressions of all of them are full of joy.

Hey guys! Yeahhhh... these ladies are kind of crazy good. Now that they've settled their "new bass player" problem (the new girl's a prodigy, I hear!), hopefully they're able to start touring extensively. Rock on! 🤘😎👍
Lovebites seek to improve album upon album…not as a cliche, but the next album is, to them, a step upwards, not just another release. Then, they write challenging songs that are perhaps just beyond their current abilities. After days and days of practice, it goes on the album. And if it’s on an album, it means it’s ready for performing live.

Lovebites doesn{t have a bad song, IMO, but TBH this one.. I don't get the fuss. Musically it's a powerhouse liek most, but it's possibly Asami's weakest vocal line in the catalog, with the least dynamic shifts. Still not saying it's a bad song, but this was actually the first Lovebites song I ever heard and TBH it's kind of why it took me 6 months to go back for more.. because it's about as stock P Metal as they go. Just didn't hear anything new or amazing in it, after listening to tons of Stratavarius, Sonata Arctica, etc, etc. Even after 4 yrs of fanhood, it's.. bottom 5 for me.
Ok. Dude’s energy is not my energy. Back to listen to the song alone now. ✌️
