April 2024: Genealogy Workshop

Hey G-Fam 👋🏿🌳. I am a video hoarder 🙃 Here is a workshop from April 2024 with The Black Tampa Bay Historian and Jack & Jill of America, Inc, Nature Coast Chapter. I discussed so much about genealogy: the importance of it and how to conduct genealogical research.
History is hard, complicated, and complex. But we got through many aspects of our collective and individual history. I think the students learned more than they expected! As melanated people, never stop learning about our culture and history. There is so much that we don’t know, especially in our local communities. Also, it is important to share what you know and plant the seeds 😁
