The point of my comment was - We should celebrate what this channel is about which is that dance and art in general in reflecting on the human condition as such go beyond barriers of caste, class, religion and nations. and therefore we must not see every dance as just an expression of cultural pride and national pride. It is much more than that. It has more to do with our nature as human beings who can express through gestures and movements of body. Saying that oh this is indian dance! Oh i love my country. Which i am sure all of us do is not the point. We should actually celebrate the dancer for the wonderful dancer she is. as a Odissi dancer myself , it is customary to remove shoes before dancing and I am so happy she did that.

I would respectfully like to disagree. I think her hand movements could use a lot more work. I am also a kathak dancer.
She might not be a pro but she is quite good and gracious. I would not say a lot of work tbh. I have seen some robotic hand movements in stages.
