I got very confused with the grey lines on easy count fabric. I ended up just gridding the fabric the same as I always do. Thanks for sharing your set up with us. God bless you.
Just watching makes my brain tired 🙈 not sure I could return to counted and such a biggie I admire your bravery you one amazing human being can’t wait to watch this one evolve between you, Jen and Natalia all masters in creating
Just found your channel. Great video! Love your set up! I have a large project that is killing my neck and back and needs to be in a scroll frame, but I don't want to invest in a floor stand at the moment. The chair method and the table clamps are the perfect solution. Subscribe!!!
Oh my, you're so brave not starting in a corner. When I started my first large 25 count, there was no way I could have done it. I also stayed in a 10x10 grid. You go, girl. Lol, 25 years to finish 😅. Have fun, and your stitches look so good. Love tent stitch.
I like your stitchy places! My husband also made some frames for me and added some pieces to my wooden stand to hold them, a clip on light and my magnifier. I can now relax and stitch while watching TV.😊 I can see the roof starting to take shape on your canvas. I love it❤
Thank you for showing and explaining how you use your frames. Now I understand it. I have to ask an armchair as a newyeur- present 😊😊Whow your husband is an artist making those big frames! lucky you!
Oh that is so pretty. The colors are so nice and bright. I have started kitting up a HAED. I have the floss - just need to get the fabric. I am not sure where I want to start. It was nice to see you starting in a different spot than in the corner. Can’t wait to see your progress.
Love both stitching setups. Children and grandchildren are just the best thing in life. I miss mine all the time. Love the color you’re working with. I’m going to be starting in upper left corner because I’m chicken. 😂 Hi Albert you little cutie puhtootie! 🥰 I can’t even imagine trying to stitch counted while videoing and chatting! Great job!! 😊❤
@@Cali_Jeni you are wiser than me honey, I am sure yours will be easier to do, when you start in a corner. But hey...who am I, if not Random and always making it harder for myself 🤣
One stitch at a time and you'll get there. I have a large HAED as well that I thought I would stitch 2 over 1 half stitch. I got 1/3 through page 1 and I was so confused. It actually took me longer because I'd lose track of where I was supposed to be. So I said to heck with it and I started 1 over 1 full cross and it's way easier for me. I rarely do half crosses which is why I was so confused. Full cross for me is easier to keep track of. I wish you wonderful stitching ❤ love to watch you my friend ❤
@@MultipleLanesCreativeBrain I have been back and forth with half or full, couldn't really make up my mind, guess you need to try for yourself before you know what works. Thank you ❤️
Oh my, Lone! You have your work cut out for you with that pattern! I have done two HAEDs and actually did it on 14 count aida, so you can imagine how huge they were. I’m terrible at any fabric that isn’t aida. I have stitched on linen with success, but it was so slow and time consuming and I didn’t enjoy it. I hope I’m around in 2036 to see your finish! 🙂
Lol, I'm gonna need some serious Magnifier by that time 🤣 I think you can say it is a test for me, this 25ct challenge. I'm not sure that I will end up enjoying it, but I feel I want to give it a go. Actually, I love to be able to see the stitches afterward, and that bugs me a little bit with this 25ct. I really can't see the stitches I stitched. Blind as a bat, I am 😂 but well, let's see where this takes me. One stitch at a time ❤️
That’s the only problem with counted you mess up one or two stitches and your way off. But they do look amazing when done. I don’t know if I will go back to counted. You need to really concentrate. I have books for counted. But pattern keepers are great for this. They never had those programs when I started in the 80’s. You’re doing great! ❤
