My first financial planner said I could retire now. Then I had you do my e.KG and you said I can retire now.I was still stubborn thinking.I should work one more year. Then my work offered me a package saying they would pay me for the rest of the year. It's like I'm being pushed out to pasture. 😊 Now just discovered that the land my dad left me might be worth a lot more than I thought. What I like, is that what you said. I can retire now if I want to and if I don't want to I don't have to.The freedom of knowing is bliss. Thank you so much for taking good care of us! ❤❤

medical insurance and coverage. That's what we need more information.. Many people can retire early and live very conservatively. It's the medical stuff that's weighing heavily.

The key is to have the freedom fund money bucket. So you don’t have to use as much of your 401k money. That way you can get credits for affordable care act. That and if you have access to a HSA, put money in that to cover deductibles and co pays tax free.

Health insurance is only huge if you don't already have that covered from a pension.

Before retiring it would be best to know what your income and expenses will be. It also might be a good idea to become more knowledgeable on investing. Remember your advisor gets fees and commissions on YOUR money.

Why so negative? I lost both my parents at 18, they had more debt than assets, so no inheritance. I made sandwiches while attending college. I worked full time while going to grad school. Finally paid off my $90k student loans. I now make $150k/year and do Instacart as a side hustle (as a 40 yr old with an MBA and solid wfh day job)

Unless this person is going to have a very good time on one epic vacation a year, this person isnt going to be traveling much if they are working part-time.
