    CORRECTION
    Weight of cement 26bagsx40kg= 1,040kg
    Water = 1,040kg x 0.48 = 499.2ltrs. dapat instead of 460.8😊
    Note : 1kg of water = 1ltr. of water

      Sir may mali doon sa calculations
      Kung Class A 1:2:4 with 1 m3 = 9 bags of cement
      Ito dapat ang mga dami ng sand at gravel per m3
      Sand = 9 bags x 2 = 18 bags
      If size of 1ft x 1 ft x 1 ft = 0.027 m3
      Then 18 bags x 0.027 = 0.486 m3
      Gravel = 0.486 m3 x 2=0.972m3
      Water = 20 liters x 9 = 180m3

    Iba ibang lugar magkaiba yng density and properties ng buhangin at graba. Bago ma attain yng mix proportion for 3000psi maigi mag conduct ng iba ibang trial mix kasi may 1:2:4 mix na more than 3000psi na pwd siya maging 1:2:5 or 1:3:5 depende sa result ng trial mix dito tayo makatipid. At yung slump sa trial mix yn din sundin sa actual pouring may mga nangyari kasi d nasunod sa actual yng slump (water cement ratio) pag pouring masyadong basa d na reflective sa 3000 psi target.

    Sir yung 1:2:4 is M15 Grade of concrete, tapos yung 1:1.5:3 is M20 Grade of concrete ,yung number correspond sa concrete Strength in MPa

      Yes Idol Sabi sa Blue book M15 daw ay katumbas nito ay 1:2:4 but in actual mixing kaya yan ng 20.7 MPa.

      Hindi siya na classify dahil ang ganyang mixture ay mabuhangin mas weaker siya compare to 1:2:4 akala kasi nila makakatipid sila dahil nagbawas sila ng Gravel.

    Pag nakuha nyo sir yung cubic meter ng sand and gravel. Pano nyo icoconvert into BAGS yung cubic meter? lets say 30 kg for sand and 33kg for gravel per bag

      Idol ang water cement ratio @ dry density of aggregate ay ranges from 0.4-0.6 para maging workable ang concrete mix mo, base sa trial mix na aming ginawa we obtain 0.45 wc for 4" slump.

    good work sir...... sir tanong ko lng po sa 4.48 sa video may {9 bag na cement + 18 na kahon sand + 36 na kahon na gravel + 162 liters}=68cf samantalng 1cubic meter lng ang volume ng slub. 1CUBIC METER IS = 35.3 CUBICFEET.. paano naging 68 cubic feet ang kailangan na materials sa 1 cubic meter na islub sir paki explain?

      You only consider the density of water, and you apply to cement and aggregates which is wrong the density of water is different from the density of cement and aggregates.

      Yung value na nasa Table ay base sa Trial mix na ginawa namin at ang naging basis namin sa mga value para mag karron kami ng Initial na value ay galing sa book na ginwa ni Max Fajardo.
      Sa tubig nman idol, ranging from 0.4-0.6

    sir, regarding sa column bakit kailangan pa ng 3/8 & 3/4. hindi ba pwedeng isang size lng ng aggregate halimbawa 3/4 lang. kasi ang napansin ko sa construction isang size lng kapag nag concreting sila.
    ginagamit lng ang 2 size sa footing G1 base at 3/4 concreting

      Binder yung 3/8 idol na aggregates
      Pwede namang 3/4 lahat ng bato kahit wala ng binder na ibang bato,
      Ang purpose kasi niyang binder na yan ay para maging workable parin yung Concrete kahit nas 4" ang Slump or in layman's term mas kakaunti yung tubig.
      Gamit na gamit yan sa mga Batching Plant.
      Pero mag Job mix ka nman at 3/4 at G-1 pwede nman but kailangan mong bantayan yung volume ng tubig na ilalagay mo.

    Sir subscriber nyo po ako.. May tanong lng ko sir. Pag buhos namin ng part ng column kasama ang beam intersection ng second floor ginamit namin na gravel ay 3/8 since masikip napo ang 3/4 sa intersection ng steel bar. Pero ang ginamit namin na gravel sa lahat na beam ay 3/4. May question sir, hindi kaya ma compromise ang compressive strength ng structure na ginamitan ng 3/8 gravel? Our mixture ratio is 1:2:3 thank you po and more power to your channel.

      Kung pagbabasehan po natin yung size ng bato mas mataas po ang Compressive Strength ng 3/4 compare to 3/8 assuming tama yung watee Cement ratio na ginamit.

      @@burtpadronia6348 Hindi ibig sabihin hindi siya umabot sa inyong desired compressive Strength what i mean is, mas mataas ang Compressive Strength ng 3/4" compare sa 3/8" na gravel with the same amount ng Cement. Para maging equal yung ibibigay nilang strength you need to add additional amount of cement for 3/8". but kung sa design niyo for 3/4 " na magbibigay ng 3000psi ay siya ring ginamit niyo sa 3/8 ganun na nga ang mangyayari may tendency na hindi niya maabot yung Compressive Strength na required niyo.

      @@burtpadronia6348 For the integrity naman ng Structure kung yung ginamit sa pag design and Analysis ng isang Structure ay 3,000psi magkakaroon ng failure or pwedeng mag collapse yung column kasi yung actual Strength ay mas mababa sa Design Strength.

      I have a question naman Sir, May hawak po ba kayong Plano kasi makikita niyo po dun kung anong ginamit na Compressive Strength ng concrete for every structure. Kasi kung 3,000 psi nga yung ginamit para diyan sa design yung ratio na 1:2:3 hindi po aabot yan ng 3,000psi para makasiguro po kayo. Pwede po kayo mag trial mix.

    Sir, ang nasa table, sa cement 9 bags/cu. m. Ang sa sand at gravel naman ay 0.50cu.m/cu.m. at 1 cu.m./cu.m. respectively? Ang ibig sabihin ba per cu. m. ay per cu. m. ng concrete?

      Para sa Slab 3days of water ponding.
      After magbuhos.
      Para naman sa Column kailangan ng burlap cloth at ibalot ito sa column para mapanatili ang temperatura ng concrete para maiwasan ang crack, take note dapat mapanatiling basa ang burlap cloth.

      Gumagamit lng tayo ng Concrete sample as a representation para malaman natin kung pasado ba or in good quality ba yung concrete mixture natin at kung kailan ba nating babaklasin ang porma at the same time para malaman natin kung pwede naba natin lagyan ng load yung member.

      Meron kasi tayo water Cement Ratio na 0.4-0.5
      Just multiply 0.4 sa weight ng computed Cement halimbawa 9 bags of Cement para makuha yung weight 9x40kg kasi sa bawat 1 bag of cement ay tumitimbang ito ng 40 kg therefore 9x40 = 360kgs
      Volume of water = 360kgs.multply by 0.4 that is equal to 144ltrs. na tubig😊

    26 bags of cement x 40kg per bag = 1,040 kg of cement

      Water = 1,040x0.48 = 499.2ltrs. dapat instead of 460.8

    Ang tanong, anung klaseng sand, anung size ang para sa ganito sa ganyan, at anung gravel size ang para sa ganito at para sa ganyan po.. meron black sand, white sand, vibro, S1, meron din po gravel na 1/2", 3/4", 1".
    Alin dyan ang para sa fooring, beam, slab

      Hindi mo kailangan ng vibro sand for Concrete mixture ng column beam and etc. Ang Vibro sand ay para sa Plastering , ito yung buhangin na nabistay na.
      Sand for Concrete Mixture
      White Sand
      Gravel nabangit ko na ito sa video.
      G-1 , Footing, Slab on Grade, Wall footing
      Ito yung mga structure na may maluluwang ang spcing ng bakal kung kayat ang G-1 ay paso sa mga pagitan ng bakal
      3/4, Column, Beams, Suspended, Slab, Shearwall,
      1/2, Binder for 3/4 and G-1 para hindi maging coarser yung bato ng halo.

    Good day po engr/sir,,,
    Ano po ba ang kaibahan ng ginagamit ng ibang engineers. Halimbawa, 1:2:4 yung concrete proportion, tapos yung volume ng concrete ay 6m³.
    Yung formula nila sa pagcompute ay,
    Cement= Dry volume x 36/sum of ratio
    = (6x1.54x36)/(1+2+4)
    =47.52 or 48 bags
    Samantala naman po kung katulad ho sa inyo,
    Cement= Volume x 36/mix proportion
    = (6x36)/4
    =54 bags
    Kung ibabawas po 54-48= 6 bags talaga yung deperensya ng dalawa
    Tapos kung ko-kompyutin din yung mga buhangin at graba, magkalayo din po ang mga quantity nila
    Nalilito na rin po ako sir kung ano din po ang gagamitin ko eh kung actual na talaga

      Typical Concrete Ratio for Ordinary Concrete mixture.
      1:1.5:3 - 12bags
      1:2:4 - 9 bags
      1:2.5:5 - 7.5 bags
      1:3:6 - 6 bags
      Ang ibig sabihin ng 1:2:4 @ 9 bags of Cement.
      1 bag of Cement
      2 cu.ft. of Sand
      4 cu.ft. of Gravel
      Base sa Ratio na yan sa bawat cu.m ng concrete meron itong 9 Bags of Cement
      So kung kailangan mo ng 6cu.m na Concrete
      Number of Bags = 9 x 6 = 54bags
      Sand = 54 x 2 = 108 cu.ft
      Gravel = 54 x 4 = 216 cu.ft
      To convert cu.ft into cu.m multiply mo lng ng 0.0283
      Sand = 108 cu.ft x 0.0283 = 3.05cu.m.
      Gravel = 216 cu.ft x 0.0283 = 6.11cu.m
      Para hindi mo na kailangan mag convert
      Just simply multiply Volume into 0.5 for sand 1 for Gravel
      Sand = 6 x 0.5 = 3cu.m
      Gravel = 6 x 1 = 6cu.m

      Base kasi diyan sa result na 48bags lumalabas 8 bags of cement per cu.m nag try kasi kami niyang 8 bags without admixture hindi siya umaabot ng 3,000 Psi.

      Convert 3inches into m ---- 0.075m
      V = 16x0.075 = 1.2cu.m
      Class A 1:2:4
      Cement = 1.2 x 9 = 10.8 or 11 bags of Cement
      Sand = 1.2 x 0.5 = 0.6 cu.m
      Gravel = 1.2 x 1 = 1 cu.m

      Depende po sa computed load at Structural. Framing design. Po pero usually pag beams 12mm-16mm sa dami nlnv magkatalo kasi nga magdedepende sa magiging structural computation.
