As a man who watches Warrington, I’d just like to state what a. great performance your team put up tonight. You probably needed one more game beforehand to oil the gears.
As a wire fan I always enjoy watching your content, hard luck tonight best you’ve played for a while, just not your day, hopefully get it sorted and you guys are back for the big prize next season
Nothing between the two sides would have been interesting to see Saints match up against Wigan great entertainment though the match had EVERYTHING all that is good about Rugby League
Fair play to your lads they gave everything and left nothing out there on the pitch tonight, brilliant advertisement for the game! As a Wire fan before the game I expected a far easier game than what we got, personally i dont rate Wellens as a coach but thats a performance that you lot can build on with a full squad👍
Didn't expect that. It could be the best I've seen you this year. Even if the quality dropped a bit in the second half, it was still a riveting game. You might have lost by a point, but at least the adage "never write off the Saints" was validated. Written off you were not. Many pundits embarrassed.
What a great game. I didn’t think saints got the 50/50 calls. Captains challenge needs to come in next season. Look forward to welcoming Wire to our ground on Friday.
Great game, Percy ice in blood to convert and Knowlss immense. Thought penalty on golden point decisive and harsh, injuries and gaff of recruitment of clown Blake ultimately cost us silverware this season, plenty to look forward to for 2025,
Dominated the game but gave Wire every point, from silly mistakes and indiscipline.. Fair play Wire, they took what we gave them.. Thought George Williams was clinical, and the difference between the teams..
KR have to win next week otherwise I'll be watching a final where I don't want either side to win, irrespective of who wins the other semi. Leigh is only a bus stop in Wigan after all, right?
We ultimately got what we deserved this season. Attack ain’t good enough and we lack true leadership on the pitch, as was evident by that last play that cost us. Percy gave us a chance, what a conversion 👏👏. Move onto 2025 with Lee Briers involvement 👍
great game to watch , really thought we were going to do it but still don't believe that Wellens is the man required to get us back to the top of the summit , IF it was possible would love to see Ivan Cleary ( Penrith Panthers ) weave his magic here
For a while in that first half I thought you were coming to us next week and what a game that would have been. But now you have Briersy you will be a different team next year. All the best.
Repeat of 2013 lads, naff rugby most of the year and dicked by a DG in the prelim... Bounced back then and we'll bounce back again 💪 sucess leaves clues, sadly we've stood still for 2 years now and i've zero faith in the coaching setup for next year too.
I'm so devastated on this one the effort was immense.. shocking season with what has been a coaching team that isn't good enough. I do feel Saints deserved this one though
I’m Wigan, so we know the rivalry. But they played really well , obviously that’s been a really bad season for saints, but we all know you’ll bounce back. All teams lose great players as they come to the end of their careers, change etc etc, it’s happed to us at Wigan before, look at Leeds now compared to all the success they’ve had over the last 10plus years. The list goes on. Saint will rebuild, and get back up there. This won’t be any comfort now, but maybe their season ending now is a good things, it wipes the slate clean, they can go back to the drawing board, and rebuild. If Leigh can come from where they’ve been for decades to get to were they are now in just a couple of years, I’m sure saints can just get their mojo back.
@@stephenaspinall9520 I was thinking that too, but I thought he’d just signed a new contract hasn’t he? He was a great player though. As is often the case imo great players don’t make great coaches. Average or unknown players seem to make the best coaches. Having said that s burgess is doing good in his first year, but it’s early days for him and Warrington , I suppose you could say the same for a lam at Leigh . So I may be wrong
And Willie Peters, and Steve McNamara. Well maybe should have wet his feet in the Championship before taking on such a demanding job as Saints. The Frenchman hasn't helped from the look of things as well. They will be a different team next year with some quality signings and input from Lee Brides - who is going about his coaching career the right way.
I’m a wire fan I’m pleased that us Warrington won but you look back to your normal self’s not the st Helen’s. We always see but I can see that your looking more to the best St Helens team but the only thing that’s not working in that game for you was your stamina I could see you were out of energy see you next season you’ll be back next season
These two do spout some rubbish sometimes It’s the first time for a long time that the Saints have been able to field a nearly full strength side , although 3 big players still missing. Consequently their first game together , and what a fixture to come together in , I thought it was a magnificent effort , and being realistic , only lost to a fortunate try and a dubious one ; surely the Williams pass was forward ? Also it is exceedingly rare that any type of penalty is awarded in the Golden Point extra time section ( in fact the NRL are debating it at the moment ) the penalty against saints in this period was “ played for “ and given Each Saints try was forensically analysed after being awarded from every angle possible , in last weeks match against Leigh , a Leigh try was disallowed by the Referee and after a minimal review from one side the referees decision was overruled and a try given I can hear the sour grapes comments coming, however I am only stating facts. Best wishes to Warrington and all RL players and teams 2 immense and riveting matches so far
Thought the video ref tried his hardest to find any reason to disallow any Saints points. For me Williams round the player pass for the try at the end of the first half is forward but never going to be given.
St. Helens are so used to winning everything and at last teams are now competing with them and I say that’s great for Supper League and now we need to see more Yorkshire Teams in these Play- offs 👍
These two, do talk some rubbish, Saints have had a bad season, for many reasons, that's something that they are not use to, 🤣🤣🤣 and the chickens have certainly come home to roost, now you know how other supporters feel, when saints have been so dominant for many years. Oh dear, how sad, never mind, maybe next year, but it couldn't of happened to a more deserving team. How's it feel boys 😫😫😫 😂😂😂😂😂

Spot on comment mate 👍🏻

Was a great game and a great advert for our sport, enjoy the off-season and good luck for next year👍
Great effort tonight and we was a tad unlucky with the penalties. We've not been good enough all season but a great effort tonight.

The ball should never have gone to Percy, the last try we conceded was a keystone cops moment, great video and chat lads COYS

Wire fans who were there made a lot of noise but didn't look good with amount of empty seats 🤔
I was at the stadium both fans were electric. Their wasnt that much fans in the North end and the was it pretty much
Dominated the game but gave Wire every point, from silly mistakes and indiscipline.. Fair play Wire, they took what we gave them.. Thought George Williams was clinical, and the difference between the teams..

At least Everton won 💪💪
Good to see this grown up approach to match analysis.
Keep doing it, fellas.

Best I've seen them all year....all a bit late.
We gifted them the win in extra time. Gutted.
C'mon the Robins.

Wellens use of substitutes again then. Briers can only do so much next year.
Yes the wires won the game and good luck for your long hard trek up to Hull KR you will need it

Get in Warrington. Saints got what they deserved. You finish 6th and knocked out at the first hurdle 😂😂😂😂
Awkward coming from a Leeds fan lad 🤣🤣🤣
