I love that it played out nearly identical to the comics. Sucks tho cause Alexandra Breckenridge played her much better than in the comics. The scene is so iconic in the comics, I would have been more upset if she survived her comic death.
i like jessie and all, but she is too good for the apocalypse. I can't imagine jessie running around the world like michonne to find rick after season 9. But I could be wrong, the director can turn jessie into a badass character if they want her to.
I had a feeling Sam was gonna go down the same path as lizzie, I'm kind of glad he died before he actually murdered someone (on purpose) Carol had effected him with her words, possibly creating a psychopath. You could tell near the end of his life that he wasn't ok mentally. Even though he might have created a good strong character he was traumatised from the start; his dad, Carol, death, they were all to much for him. On the other hand, i felt bad for Sam. It wasnt his fault the world turned into this, if he was introduced to it in a better way and not so suddenly when the walkers broke in, then yeah, he would make an amazing character.
Why does everybody blame Sam and rid Jessie of any responsibility of her own children? If she wasn't out here trying to get with a man she barely know, and paid more attention to her kids they would've survived. Why didn't she force Sam to get his butt from upstairs to teach him things? She left him by his self all the time. Sam over here got dark circles under his eyes drawing pictures of himself being eaten alive with a trail of ants in his room, and this B-word got all her attention on Rick not her kids!! Then when they were preparing to leave got the nerve to start putting walker guts on herself before her youngest child!! You make sure your kids are good before yourself, but go ahead keep talking about her like she's a good character. Sam was neglected by his mom, his brother, and his father. So he's the only character in this family I feel for.
In the comicbook, Jessie doesn’t do half the stuff that she does on the TV show. She isn’t as likeable or capable, and after Pete dies, her only intention is to get into Rick’s pants. On the TV show however, it is Rick that does the chasing. She shoots him down in the first episode of S6. She states that she asked Rosita to teach her how to shoot, and that she will teach Ron and then Sam. You gotta keep in mind that the timeline of the first half of S6 was set across just a few days, and so much happened with the wolfs attacking Alexandria, and then the heard showing up right after. Sam was a contributing factor to Jessie’s death, BUT I can also say that Jessie was also to blame. She should’ve pushed for Sam to go with Father Gabriel to his church, knowing that he had already seen too much. Jessie was an abused housewife, who was becoming stronger, but ultimately her children were her weakness.
People blame Sam because he was given the option to go to the church with Gabriel and he refused. He then lost his nerve getting himself and his mom killed and driving Rob to try and kill Rick and shooting Carl.
@@flamethrower1273 well that's stupid because Remember TWD is a World where Zombies aren't a thing so a Kid wouldn't know a thing about any of the World outside, compared this to a World where Zombies are a thing, well Completely Different Story
I feel Ron. Having a mental breakdown knowing that his father was shot to death by Rick. Sure he was abusive, but atleast Ron cared about him and now I understand his agony. R.I.P my man🫡
Personally I liked Ron and Sam because Jessie seemed to not care for her children. One of the only references to her caring about her children is her installing a dead lock on the inside of Sam's closet. Jessie Is a nice person but her not caring for her kids mental health and knowing that even if the children weren't possibly abused its still very traumatizing. Sam and Ron may be weak but you have to understand that they both where living inside walls and they where both possibly abused for most of there lives ontop of living in a world of fear. When Ron went to shoot Rick this could have been a ptsd response because of everything that has happened. Think of it like this Ron lost everything he ever knew so fast and came to a world so harsh outside of the walls. He watched the family he's ever known get eaten Alive within seconds like nothing mattered. Also in my opinion Sam was a bit of a brat but at the same time he was a polite little kid who was just terrified.. to top it all off Jessie didn't teach Sam very much therefore setting Sam up for failure and relying on these walls so much set Ron for failure in the end.
Hey, I love this edit! Could I request a Jadis/Anne edit? I know she wasn’t in it that much but I still think there could be a great edit of her! Especially from her badass scene where she minced all the walkers with that machine lol. Thank you
Rick was right, they didnt know at all what the real world was like.
