- This is the FIRST Episode of the Hypixel Skyblock Trials! This series is a new idea though of by my chat and myself while we were live a few weeks ago, so with the help of some amazing people (Jimmy, Onygoph, Dos) we had planned and mapped this out to finally start! yeah it's a pretty common challenge in runes cape but no one has done it in skyblock
I don't know of anything runescape nut when I thought of this, chat helped cook up some of it and im so glad we made it! Had a lot of fun so far!

This first video is one of my favorites because I think the challenge to make the private island interesting was the most unique. Like, nobody thinks about fishing on the private island. There's a lot of challenges you encounter here that if a player isn't on stranded they wouldn't consider doing. Using the single block of coal to unlock that collection was inspired.
@OPUP I truly appreciate that. The first island was actually incredibly fun and actually felt so interesting to grind. It rejuvenated my excitement for the game, and I'm very happy it worked out, and that specific coal goal was awesome to find out about during planning because that made it even more unique. @radactivi 8 at a time with only 1 water and 1 lava? I know you can do 4 at a time but 8 seems like a lot

@fenasl874 oh I mean yea you can make a ludicrous cobble gen by that logic but it'd be a nightmare to mine it and would hardly be considered a generator and would start to seem more like a lava caste, the method I know for 1 bucket of lava and water makes 4 cobble all touching each other and breakable without moving

They really need to make this a game mode with random challenges that are like this but but they would be really hard.
If the devs sat down and went through even 50 possible tasks per island, this could be insane content for the server! Me and a few others had at least 10 to 15 ideas per island in just a couple days with very little time
100% this is the most creative and hardest challenge ever in skyblock!
I'm just trying to do something fun and different, so I'm very happy with the turnout so far! 🤟

damn nice concept! also slimes only spawn in specific chunks, so im assuming that the reason why it took so long to spawn was because only a few blocks of your platform were in a slime chunk

Because of how long everything took, i think it would have made a lot of sense to rush t3 cobble minion for faster cobble production to provide blocks to build out the platforms
Definitely a lot of notes for future people attempting this, learning a lot each day that would be great to have previously!

Question, what color of texture pack do you have. And also, what mode do you use? (Slower moving fist and smaller utilities)
Prism 16x, and the Dulkir mod for the swing animation
I just want to say I hate using slabs for expanding platforms, especially bottom slabs. unless your resources are limited (like a one block vanilla skyblock run) just farm out some blocks and expand it like that. Other than that I love this video and need to see more
Another thing is that I love and hate being early on a series. By being early I get to be a part of the community that makes things happen, but it also means I gotta wait for each episode

Planning on making one tomorrow! Slabs are entirely fine, they don't stop mobs if you use the top slab, if they're bottom halves that's the only way they wont spawn.
