      @@panditrashtrapal You said it very well already. I would add that it helps calm the mind and helps us to be more deeply in touch with what's going on inside our body and mind, it helps bring us back to the present moment.

      Praying for all beings regardless whether we know them or have a particular liking to them will help us deepen our practice of compassion. I think this is what Dr. Malik means, because I think if we practice compassion deeply enough, then there's no such thing as an 'enemy', right? Good on you for putting the reminders into practice.
