      you should get a small bristletooth tang, some hermit crabs, some snails, have your lights off for a shorter amount of time, and do more water changes, plus a protein skimmer will be a worthy investment.

    The BEST hair algae eater is the turbo snail. Big brown snail really easy to find. Your tank only needs 2 and it will be clean in days.

    Or get a lawnmower blenny. They will munch it all down.

    What type of octopus are you looking for?

  • @mopeygoff
    @mopeygoff ปีที่แล้ว

    Is that brown/diatom algae on the sand? Maybe run a skimmer? You can turn it off for a few hours when you feed the corals, but otherwise turn it on. That should help with both the hair and diatom algae. Also get a clean up crew in there - hermits will eat up all that mess.

  • @Ghostlife01

    Straight what you need is a hermit crab red one or blue one don't matter and a foxface . And if you need a octopus let me know my shop can get you any kinda you would like and they affordable prices not like these other stores.

    Lawnmower Blenny care: diet, reef safe, description & facts
    Are Lawnmower blennies hard to keep? Lawnmower blennies are not hard to keep, as long as you have naturally occurring filamentous green algae for them to eat and supplement feedings with an algae-based prepared fish food.

  • @TheEmpire822
    @TheEmpire822 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ok I think the guys saying the tank is still cycling are right, I mean you don’t want to put something in the tank that will eat algae so you wouldn’t know there is a problem untill it’s to late, so I would do like they said and let it keep cycling and then if it dosent go away after awhile then possibly look at getting some sort of fish that eats it or whatever..

    I live in salt lake City Utah and since COVID the demand in Utah is too high that breeders are sending way too young of fish to the shops. So everything you find around here is so young that they can't fight to stay alive in a full-blown running aquarium. Unless they're an Angel gourami Tetra or beta they're going to struggle.
