Join us as we embark on an unforgettable journey through Kakheti, Georgia’s famous wine region, and Sighnaghi, the romantic "City of Love." 🌍🍷
After a peaceful morning in Tbilisi, we hit the road and made our first stop at Gurami Papa’s Winery, where we experienced Georgian winemaking, sampled traditional Chacha, and enjoyed the warm hospitality of our hosts, Nina and Luka.
Next, we explored Sighnaghi, a charming city known for its 24/7 marriage registry, cobblestone streets, and breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley. From the historic St. Nino’s Convent Cathedral to the iconic Sighnaghi Wall, this city offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and romance.
As the day ended, we took the scenic Telavi road, winding through lush mountains and a national park, on our way to Kazbegi. Despite the rain and delays, we arrived at Garemta Guest House, where we were greeted with incredible Georgian hospitality and a delicious late-night dinner prepared by Mrs. Tamuna.
