      It's a great little car. We just got the sport in that cool blue color a few days ago.

    I wish they would allow the 2.5 liter and leather wrapped steering wheel on the Sport trim for a little cheaper than the RS.

    Anyway to get the Moonroof AND hardon kardown 10 speaker system on the sport?

    • @bigtim208
      @bigtim208  ปีที่แล้ว

      Moonroof, yes. Harmon Kardon is only on the RS.

    Got one yesterday. Great point A to point B commuter. Yes I always had manual until this car, at 36 I was getting tired of shifting for daily driving. The CVT is not bad, the reputation is well embedded in popular car culture and those big TH-cam reviewers don’t help. The 2.0 power is fine, but reviewers again, keep telling the masses you need to the 2.5

    I have an 2021 sport hatchback in manual transmission. I love it for an daily. I also dumped the halogens for LED's, added an solar panel battery trickle charger system, pinstripes, roof racks, and blue interior lighting. Love it..... 🏹🤠👍

    Mazda, Honda, and Toyota all have safety/driver assistance suites comparable to eyesight standard now. Disagree about the engine, too. The 2.5L should be standard for the Crosstrek and Impreza. Mazda has a 2.5L standard in all trim lines (at least in the US.) Impreza and Crosstrek have become too expensive to get the 2.5L, since it will set you back nearly 30K because you have to buy an upper level trim. Only Impreza I would consider would be the RS at less than 30K if you can find one without added option packages (the RS is very well equipped as is.)

      Mazda's in recent years have been poorly made. All you have to do is drive one through a car wash. If it is loud, it is a poorly made vehicle. Trim that falls off, poor choice of screen location, button choices, and so on. This is my opinion, and it is not intended to upset Mazda owner. I think the Civic is fine and so is the Corolla. All are FWD standard. The Impreza wins with the AWD. I agree with the RS being the number 1 choice!

    Its got better brakes. The rs is really what you need it's almost perfect

    • @bigtim208
      @bigtim208  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct. 11.6 inch breaks on the front on the base, and 12.4 inches on the sport and RS.

    Sport a waste. Why make it.

      Drive the 2023 sport, and then the 2024 sport. The 2024 Sport is cheaper, better, and nicer.

      @@hb2088 well yea because I like the 2024 sport wheels and it would just need a leather steering wheel. Keep the cheaper cloth seats and make it like a cheaper version with the 2.5 liter engine. That said, the 2024 sport is still better than the 2023 sport.

    • @edsmith9855

      Maybe "a waste" is too strong a word, but I sort of agree. I suppose it is OK to make a base model with the 2L, but the "Sport" trim with the 2.5L would be a killer deal. Even the 2.5L RS is only mildly sporty, but a "Sport" model with stiff suspension and low profile tires simply makes no sense with a 2.0L engine.

      Actually we sell a lot of the Sport! Some people just want the looks.

    I think it has a cvt, which means it is a huge no go that cannot be saved.

    • @edsmith9855

      Not really. CVTs have become almost ubiquitous in lower models now.
