I grew up on an 80 acre ranch in Lake County. So many ranches are being sold for developments. I hope to see the ranches of Florida last for many many, years to come!

My question, why would it be hard to pass the land on to the next generation? Do they have to buy it for a minimum % of its worth? Do they have to pay higher taxes based on current market value? Or do you think the temptation of making a quick profit is the main issue?
Would give anything to live this lifestyle for some years...
The death tax is a big part of it. A lot of families don't have enough cash on hand to pay it without selling the land.

my family, in particular, my uncle has known him and his dad since the 50's and Adams Ranch is really an orange grove, they have cows but their main crop was oranges and grapefruit. I have been all over that place since I was a child. Geat fishing and 12 plus feet gators use to be all over that place. Wild turkeys everywhere around that area

I had these nice American neighbors. On top of them were Jew doubles and a Jew triple. Their cousin I think befriended someone who asked to park his work car on their property, his double was a Jew, that cousins wife is also a Jew. They ended up getting rid of the Americans and stealing their farm. I am worried they killed them. They seem to imply they were cut up.

I don't like that animals are being raised only to be kill for meat or even just milking their milk.
But at least when they are raise in a ranch is much better than if they are lock in a factory farms where
they don't get to see sunlight and go outside for fresh air.
At least in a ranch they get to roam nature and free.
I hope all animals should be raise in ranches instead of factory farms but more important I hope
that one day they would all be free for no one will eat meat in the near future.

I'm not sure it's good to have a cattle ranch so close to the Everglades. There have been serious issues with cow feces running off into the Glades and aquifers.
No, what your referring to is the routing of water from Lake O. that is causing problems, like the algae blooms.
i'm not sure that having wildlife and aligators so close to the everglades there is serious issues with wildlife feces deposited directly into the water by gators and fish. I'm glad that i was able to "Educate" you on just Where "The Bear Ships in the Woods."
