I could feel your joy through the screen. Nature is very uplifting. I think the juxtaposition of the lemons will look pretty with the black.
My Grandmother has a huge and well traveled match collection. Its one of my favorite things of hers!
Love World Market...thank you! Planning my own visit now ❤😂😊
I'm in Illinois. My myer lemon is 5 years old. Had 1 season of 6 lemons, then nothing. I'm like u, LOVE the little tree. I'm sure you'll have better luck. My sister lived in Arizona, had 10 foot BEAUTIFUL lemon trees. Largest lemons I have ever seen.❤
You were over in my corner of the desert! I love Ivy & Sage! Thanks for sharing. I need to pop in there this weekend. ;-)
Brandy, plants/flowers make me SMILE!!! Nice video
Loved the music and shopping with you! I think I’ll add some of the white marble pieces to my decor!
Girl I was here clapping 👏🏻 my hands of Happiness for you with the 🍋 tree! 😆😁🫶
I am excited for you & your Meyer Lemon Tree!❤ I absolutely adore gardening, plants, trees, shrubs, etc. Just wait until you have your own yard!❤ Keep doing you!
It’s so fun to see how happy the lemon tree makes you. I don’t have a world market anywhere near me so it was nice to see what they have and your taste is right on target with mine. I have been going back and watching all your videos from when you first started. You seem to have always had good taste in items. Thank you for the great video and I will be looking forward to the next one.❤
I got so excited about the lemon plant too! She's beautiful! Every time you water her, add a touch of water soluble fertiliser to the watering can. Not full strength. Just a touch. You'll have abundance of 🍋 Flush her out with just water every 2 months or so.
Thyme is excellent in chicken and fish dishes... any seafood actually. Make a lemon garlic butter with a few sprigs of thyme 👌🏾 or marinate the meat with thyme!
Also, the thyme will fill out any pot and hang over the lip of the pot. So get a pot with a wider mouth. I have mine in the middle of my patio table as the center piece but mom has hers in a hanging pot.
Basil is an aggressive grower. You don't even need to fertilise it. The more you clip, the more they branch out.
Add more pearlite/drainage to the soil of your rosemary. Let the soil dry out they hate moisture... I find a terracotta pot is best for them. They are slow growers but they'll be beautiful with the right care!
Good luck! ❤
Plants make me happy too! I use dried thyme when cooking roasted potatoes with Garlic in my cast iron skillet.
Brandy I love how much you love the simple things in life!! If something that lives gives you that much joy, go for it!!! 😂❤ World Market is definitely the first places I go if I ever get a new home again!! Their stuff is so good!! ❤❤❤
Lime juice, thyme, soy sauce and oregano! The best marinade for chicken or chops on the grill!
I just love watching how tactile you are. I am the same way. There is such a joy in looking and touching things that are so beautiful and crafted so well. As far as the lemon tree, I get your enthusiasm. It's so wonderful to witness the fruits of your labor.
Aweeeee thank you!! You get to!! It’s the little things in life that bring so much joy. Thank you for watching!! 🤗🥰
I keep following you from store to store after watching your videos. Monday I went t to IKEA and now I have to go to world market tomorrow 🤣 I love your videos!! Sooo good!!!
Oh Brandy if only I lived in Arizona! I can barely survive with our Wisconsin weather outside! Some parts of our state had 11 inches of snow! I think I'm going to try my hand at a lemon tree when our weather gets warmer....that could be a couple of months! Like to have it outside on our deck! I was excited too when I saw those little green lemons on that tree! Sooooo cute!🍋
Loved this video. So fun!!!!
Oh I loved seeing everything at world market ! I see you showed a glass green little lamp , got so excited , as I had one similar but my husband just broke it by accident - anyway it is sold out 😢 I love the lemon tree you planted . I love plants & things like the lemon tree 🪴🍋😊
Loved this video
Thanks for taking us with you. So fun. I love Meyer lemons. Mine didn’t do so well, but my lime is doing good.
Thank you so much coming along with me! Wish me luck on my Meyer lemon… I’m nervous now LOL! I bet your lime is so cute!! 😍
@@BrandyJackson yes good luck. I hope yours does better than mine did. Mine was also in a pot. I did get a few lemons from it.
Thanks for sharing
Oh I miss beautiful home stores. I live in Singapore…..no such big box decor shops.
I have 6 Meyer lemon tree in pots in the front of my house that get all day Southern sun so they get A LOT OF SUN! I’m in California. Right now they are thriving coming into spring. I bet I have at least 7 Lea,one on each tree right now. I just cut one about an hour ago and oh my….so yummy just in some ice water!
I bet they are just darling right now too! 😍 I am so excited to have one and cannot wait for the day that I get a juicy lemon that I can use!! Thank you for watching!! 🤗🥰
I got my first Meyer lemon tree a few weeks ago and I’m in love💛💛💛
😂I also love shopping when it's raining🎉
Brandy, I wish the World Market near me was still open. The pandemic shut them down sadly. They have beautiful, unique decor and a great selection of foods, snacks, oils. The mini brassy gold lamp was adorable and the baskets are awesome. Love that you found the Meyer Lemon tree. Like I said in your post, its the little things that mean alot and makes us happy. The fresh herbs are a must. You can use thyme for steaks. I usually bundle thyme and rosemary and will sear the porterhouse steak with S&P, fresh garlic, shallots and butter in a cast iron pan. Leave the bundle of herbs in the pan. Flip the steak after 4 mins and after 2 mins put in the preheated oven at 375 for about 3 mins depending on how rare or well you like. We like it medium rare. Remove the herb before serving. Its so good. You can also add to your Thanksgiving dishes, potatoes, stews. Its so good. No I'm hungry for my birthday dinner. TFS today👍🏼🍋🛍🤗
I love World Market. The other shop you went to was so sweet.Wish I lived closer but it would be a long drive from Wisconsin.😅
HAPPY BIRTHDAY my sweet friend! I hope you are having a great day celebrating YOU!! You are actually the one who got me going back to WM again a few months back! You are so right, they have such unique items! Thank you for spending a little time with me on your birthday 🫶🏼🤍
@BrandyJackson Thank you Girl! I appreciate it your kind words and birthday wishes!!!
WM is so good. Glad you were inspired to go back. Your walk through sparked my interest to check their website. You shared some gems.
The weather here has been windy with a bad rainstorm. Birthday celebration will continue later in the week 🤗
I love the music during your shopping excursion. What is the name of it?
I use fresh thyme in lots of things, but now that you are in your sourdough era ...add garlic powder, chopped fresh rosemary & fresh thyme to the bread .....you're welcome!
I love thyme I got time for it.. lol thyme in my chicken steak pot roast fish dinner rolls yummm love it
Hi! I see that you’ve used garden soil. It’s best to combine that with potting soil because it holds onto moisture since the soil in pots tends to dry out faster as opposed to in ground planting. The dark colored pot will retain the heat and dry the soil faster. Just something to keep in mind. Also, after about two years, you’ll need to replenish the soil in the pot as nutrients leach out. Later, transplant into a larger pot. I started out my Eureka lemon trees in 22” diameter pots.
For some reason I can’t find the first dining chair you pointed out online… I’m so bummed! Love the video tho💛
R u guys looking at houses?
Good people are hard to fine 🎉 good luck.
BUY IT
I love world market but not the prices. The price of that rug I want to know it’s ancestry!! Lol
💛☀️🤍
