I don't know about dual radios for driving but dual radios for camera drones are pretty common functionality. They allow one person to pilot the drone while the other controls the camera gimbal. I assume that is why they also have that functionality and possibly also for flight training. Can't see it would be that helpful in driving but I just bash.
C'mon, the NB4 screen is not that bad, to say that is unusable outside is a huge exaggeration :) It's nice to have a better screen with the plus though. What I would wish for them to improve that could be a huge replacing point for me over the NB4 is a better touch response, something like a modern smartphone lever, that would be amazing, it's really annoying the lack of response sometimes.
When i have to adjust mine outside i have to stick it under my t shirt and put my face down through my neck hole to be able to see the screen. I just ordered one and the only reason was for the better screen.
The steering is not linear -- when you turn the controls it turns the steering, but in the middle of the corner (halfway to full lock) it accelerates the steering and then slows down again at the end. I found you need to change the steering expo setting -9% so that there is a nice linear turning of the steering wheel to match the turning of the car's wheels.
For getting into or trying racing, or a tight budget, maybe the new DX6C ... for a bit more, Futaba 4pm plus with SR recievers.... higher end of midrange MT-5 Sanwa or DX5 Pro(this is what I chose for my son and I recently) , or this Noble the video is about..... it's the only touch screen radio I would personlaly consider. Hoping Razor does a new midrange radio Shootout at some point this year
Hi fella. Just received my NB4+ and i noticed the black box came unsealed. Can you tell me if yours came with plastic seal or not? Thx buddy, nice video!
You missed that this radio has a special 2 channel mode with lower latency for racing. I have an older NB4 and it doesn’t have that. I love mine though and definitely getting this new version
NB4 _does_ have that. Maybe your firmware is just old. Also, the stock frame rate of NB4 is around 380 Hz (With FGr4S receiver), which is around on par with Sanwa's SHR. _edit: I can't find the two channel mode anywhere now. Maybe I am imagining things, so take that with a grain of salt. 380 Hz rate still stands, I've measured it myself._
I’ve always gone by the rule of update firmware only if you are currently having an issue, not whenever there is a new release. If something works why mess with it
@@1521joe it got hall sensors. You can make your own LUA scripts. And it has games on it. And you get ExpressLRS as a deafult protocol wich means long ass range. And you can have 60 models. As stock. Can be more if you swap SD card
it's not subjective, it's relative. that's why my reviews give ratings compared to what else you can buy of the same type of thing (car, transmitter, etc.). this video isn't meant to help you decide whether to buy the radio or a piece of bread, that's up to you, not me.
It just sad to me it doesn’t take more protocols, no support for ant or even 2A. Some qol is welcome but otherwise meh. How many versions of nb4 there are now? Like 4? I like my older one still

What do you think about the dx5 pro compared to this

Awesome video👍🏻
Can you please explain the steering issue about 9% negative i don't know what thats means. I just so happen to be about to order one.

M17 review?
Is this better than the rugged dx5/6 ?
Cool radio and review, but could you do a review of cheap, idiotproof RC car HS18311? Small 1/18 RC car but gives cool vibes^^
Can you tighten the steering wheel? Since it can move, and would suck of it moved around while using it.
@@Schmidteren not an issue.
Good Job
Are they going to make a Pro version with this new display?
The Noble Pro already has this display.
no it doesnt not as bright @@frankkrivitz3323

For cheaper budget a flysky fs-g7p works
hey are the battery bases interchangeable?
yes

A 2-channel race mode on the nb4+ would be a major upgrade. Can anyone confirm that?
DO NOT update the receiver firmware for the In4r-gyb from the nb4+ it will make the receiver unusable after that.
