:-):-) (Taken from Wikipedia) “Founded in 1903 by a group of high school students, the club was named Hellas, at the request of a professor of classics.” What is “Hellas”? :-) Actually, that’s the name of my country, “Greece”. :-) Here, we know why the club is named like that, but I never felt that Greeks have a particular soft spot for them. Neither do we for the various clubs named after figures of our mythology, or even Sparta. Hm...
Ironically, the summer of 1985, their first ever European Cup (today’s Champions League) matches, were against a Hellenic team, my team, 1984-85 Greece champions PAOK. They beat us 3-1 in Verona, and 1-2 in Thessaloniki. Mind you, they had some incredible players back then, including a lethal Danish striker. Actually, I attended the return leg, yes, I’m THAT old, hahaha… I was 8, my mom didn’t want my dad (my parents’ apartment is about 500 meters from the stadium) to take me along because we knew the stadium would be PACKED, but I wouldn’t take no for an answer, so…
    Aaah… The memories… :-):-)
Cool shirt. I’d prefer cutting my fingers off and throwing them to a stray dog than buying it at this price, but cool nonetheless.

I see you keep your shirts covered with those plastic sheets. I thought I’d read that that’s not good for the shirts?

Wonder what the concern would be? Maybe damp in humid conditions?

@@ClubFootballShirts I think that was the main reason. They also made mention that clothing fabric needs to “breath” and have air circulating around it. I was wondering how long you’ve had yours covered and if you’ve noticed any problems? because - like with most things in life- I’ve also read contradictory information that it’s a good idea to keep to keep them covered!
